[Shun-hai] Personal Awards (6 Haiku) by Tsuru
Thank you for your support. ^^
Hello. This is Tsuru. ☆彡
The Minna no Haiku Taikai [Shun-hai] has ended,
and I've finally caught my breath.
Now that I've settled down,
a bit late, but
please allow me to present my personal awards. m(_ _)m
I already gave out personal awards for tanka,
but this time it's for haiku.
I haven't set any rankings, and the order of posting is random. 🌳
Let's get started right away.
Oh, I decided based on my first impression of
thinking, 'Oh, this is nice.'
I've also written my own personal thoughts,
so please forgive me. m(_ _)m
Well then. ^^
Tsuru's Personal Awards (Six Haiku)
Neeton.
So big, that one bite of yours, shaved ice
The single-character space is very effective in this haiku.
It successfully expresses the size of that one bite.
It even conveys the cuteness of that one bite.
^^
I thought it was an adorable haiku. 🌼
Olav 153
Like a child who has put down their brush, mackerel clouds
The concept is wonderful.
The phrasing 'like having put down a brush' is
interesting. ^^
Imagining from the mackerel sky,
it feels like you couldn't help but put down your pen.
I thought this was a haiku full of charm. 🌼
Kyodai Koro-san
Arranging lilies of the valley, the moonlight deepens
First of all, the appearance of the characters is beautiful. ☆彡
It is also clear and serene when read aloud.
The development where the moonlight deepens
through the act of arranging them
is poetic and wonderful, I thought.
I also found myself imagining the weight of the lilies of the valley.
I thought this was a haiku that fully utilized
the expression 'deepens'. ^^
It is a beautiful haiku. 🎵
Mero-san
Once again, alone and carefree | Distant Fireworks
This is a haiku with a charming, down-to-earth style.
The contrast with the distant fireworks is brilliant,
and the seasonal word stands out very well. ^^
Perhaps the feeling of being a bit faint
is also being played upon.
This haiku, composed without forgetting a bird's-eye perspective,
is very attractive, and I was deeply moved.
It's human nature, isn't it? ^^
Tsunako Aso-san
Live even if you are alone, a Tokyo jellyfish
This is a haiku where the charm of uniqueness and humor shines through.
The phrase "Tokyo jellyfish"
being recited all in one breath
is what I thought was a great achievement. ^^
With this, the expression "living alone in Tokyo,"
which tends to be mundane,
has been transformed into a wonderful haiku.
The original phrasing of "Tokyo jellyfish"
seems to directly metaphorize
the message of "live alone"
just as it is.
I thought this was a very striking haiku. ^^/
Madoka Sasara
Counting the lantern plant flowers at Senso-ji Temple
This is a haiku I liked at first impression, but
after reading your article,
I learned that the flowers can be a summer kigo (seasonal word). ^^
It is a haiku that feels both common and emotional,
conveying that it was composed with familiarity
while blending into the town of Asakusa.
Perhaps it is because you are a local
that you can compose it so simply. ^^
The lighthearted act of
casually counting the lantern plant flowers
without being too earnest
expresses the mood beautifully. ^^
☆彡
That concludes the six haiku. ☆彡
Thank you very much
for letting me read your wonderful haiku. m(_ _)m
