I am a huge dentist-hater.


I kept putting it off...


Thinking it would be fine to wait until it hurt...


I know that the more it hurts, the harder the treatment is.


But that's how much I dislike dentists. I'm scared of them 😱


I even used my wife's illness as a convenient excuse for myself.


"Today is a hospital visit, today is rehab," yeah, "I can't go to the dentist," I convinced myself.


Finally...


I had intense pain in my tooth...


Cold water started to sting and hurt.

It's a cavity.


Yesterday, I reluctantly went to the dentist.

I had left it for 10 months since the tooth chipped.


The dentist took one look at my tooth and said, "Wow, this is deep."


My heart was pounding.


They immediately decided to take an X-ray of my tooth.


The nerves in my tooth are very thin and short.


Apparently, that's why it didn't hurt much.


Without saying anything, they said, "I'm going to give you anesthesia."


Before I knew it, the treatment started and finished in about 10 minutes.


The treatment for the chipped tooth was over in a flash, and I felt relieved.
