A memory test at Asakusa Naniwaya. Done on my own.
I visit Asakusa Naniwaya quite often, but I tend to choose the limited-time items. As a result, it ends up being a long time since I've had the standard menu items.

My favorite, 'Milk with various things and smooth red bean paste,' is one of my favorite staples. This time, I went with this.
It's been quite a while since I've seen it, too.
It's delicious as always. Wait? Was there tofu cream cheese on top before? The luxury of the nuts like almonds, peanuts, and macadamia nuts inside remains the same, but having cream cheese on top makes it even more gorgeous.

There it is, there it is. I found this in my past photos. As I thought, the top used to be simple like this. This was good in its own way.
And with my memory proven correct,
"I'm still okay"
I felt a sense of relief. The manager is always researching new things every day, so I suppose they decided to put cream cheese on top this year.
They try various things, but I love that they don't do anything too eccentric. After all, the most important thing is that it tastes good.
At the same time, what I respect is that they make the taiyaki bean paste in a large pot. The large pot in the kitchen is truly huge. It's also part of the charm that when it's finished, they stack the trays in a staggered pattern on the customer tables to let it cool. The wonderful aroma of adzuki beans drifts through the shop, making my nose happy too. I realize they make so much because it's used not only for the taiyaki but also frequently for the shaved ice.
It makes me happy when I can visit at a time when I can see that scene.
This time, too, I was able to fully enjoy my favorite milk flavor. Thank you for the meal.
