Eating shaved ice from Himeji Kanbeedo while in Tokyo! Nice.

As you can tell from the background, a little time has passed since I visited. Yes, I stopped by "Kakigori Collection Baton" in Yaesu Midtown during the Halloween season.

Renowned shaved ice shops from all over Japan open pop-up stores for a limited time. The concept of passing the baton from one to the next is reflected in the shop's name.

This time, it was "Himeji Kanbeedo," which came all the way from Himeji.
They say it's located right near the national treasure Himeji Castle.

I had the Pistachio Fromage Tiramisu. I have a huge weakness for (meaning I love) both fromage and tiramisu, so I chose this one without hesitation from the nine items on the menu.

Ah, it was so smooth. Rich. A flavor with incredible depth. The sharp pistachio flavor brought out the best in each element, resulting in a taste that wasn't just fluffy and sweet, but had a great balance.

A corner of the serving counter was set up as a photo spot, so I was able to take pictures with Halloween decorations like this.

Looking at it now, it feels a bit "dated," but that's part of the charm.
It was delicious, so what's the harm?
