The story of how I impulse-bought a cordless high-pressure washer and found it incredibly useful

A few months ago, while browsing the internet, an ad for a "cordless high-pressure washer" caught my eye. I was quite shocked, thinking, "Wait, cordless? Does such a thing exist?"

Until now, my image of high-pressure washers was that they were large, required a power cord, and seemed like a hassle to set up and clean up after. 😅

In fact, although I thought they looked convenient, I never ended up buying one because I thought, "I'll definitely stop using it right away."...

✔️The reason I impulse-bought it

Thinking, "If it's cordless, I might actually use it!", I finally clicked the buy button.

📦I was surprised when I opened it. It's about the same size as a screwdriver!

I was surprised at how small it was. Here is a photo of it next to an electric screwdriver (18V).

✅Here are the included items

• High-pressure washer unit (built-in battery)

• Detergent bottle (I don't use it)

• Collapsible bucket (5L)

A few days later, I bought a "collapsible bucket" for the high-pressure washer!

No water hose or power cord needed. Just fill the bucket with water and you can use it right away!
It's perfect for cleaning the bathroom, balcony, or washing your car.

For cleaning the bath, two buckets of water are more than enough even with normal washing.

I didn't even use detergent ✨

💡 You can also use plastic bottles!

If you use the dedicated attachment, a plastic bottle can also serve as a water source.

The water runs out pretty quickly though 😅

Also, it's unstable when you set it down, so I recommend leaning it against a wall while using it.

🌊 The nozzle has 5 switchable settings

You can switch the water flow just by rotating the nozzle tip.

• 0 degrees (concentrated)

• 20 degrees (normal)

• 20 degrees (angled)

• 40 degrees (wide angle)

🛁 Good points I felt after actually using it

• It's cordless, so you can use it easily

• Perfect for washing cars, screen doors, and balconies

• Dirt comes off even without detergent

• Small but has solid water pressure

• No trouble with daily storage

⚠️ Points of concern (disadvantages)

• Operating noise is somewhat loud (about the same as an electric screwdriver)

• Operating time: approx. 20 minutes (charging: approx. 5 hours)

• Battery is non-replaceable (battery life = unit life)

• The nozzle is short, making it easy to get water on yourself

• The water volume of the included bucket is a bit underwhelming (5L); think of it as a 'bonus'

• I feel like the nozzle power is weak unless you get it fairly close

• Car wash → One charge is enough for a light car

• Window screens and sashes → Completely clean!

• Reduces odors from the drain!

• I plan to take it to visit my family grave and clean the headstone. I wonder if my late father will be happy about it...

It's cordless, lightweight, easy to handle, and doesn't take up much storage space.

The convenience of being able to use it the moment you think, "I want to clean this a little bit."

It seems like it could also be used for cleaning up after outdoor activities (especially in the summer)💡

If you can buy it for around 10,000 yen and it's this useful, I feel like it's "well worth the money."

About half a year after purchasing it, it suddenly stopped charging and wouldn't turn on.

I have a feeling that water somehow got inside.

When I called the manufacturer's (Tanimura Jitsugyo Co., Ltd.) call center, they immediately sent me a new one✨ (in exchange for the broken product)

The person at the call center was also very kind, and I felt that it is a manufacturer you can rely on even if trouble occurs.😄
