JR Miyauchi Station Eki-Tag Stamp

2025.05.03
For the 2025 Golden Week, I decided to go out and collect "Eki-Tag" stamps set up in Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures. "Eki-Tag" is a free digital station stamp app that primarily features JR lines, though some private railways are also included.

The 26th station is JR Miyauchi Station in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, which is a station on the JR Shin'etsu Line and Joetsu Line, and is also the terminal station of the Joetsu Line.

The station opened in 1898 (Meiji 31). The current station building was rebuilt in 1992.

This station was also a stop for the "Koshino Shu*Kura" train.

It was the nearest station to "Settaya," which offers walking courses around the area.

In Settaya, brewing facilities such as sake breweries, soy sauce factories, and miso factories stand side by side. The Japanese-style architecture of the station building was designed to match the townscape of Settaya, and the Eki-Tag design also featured a building that appears to be a brewing facility.
