The Ultimate Curry🍛 is Born😁 Made entirely in the microwave without a knife‼️ My kids gobbled it all up👨🍳🙌
Can you make curry just in the microwave?
A simple curry experiment using a 100-yen shop cooker
A huge success with almost zero dishes to wash
Ingredients
2 potatoes
A little bit of carrot
1/2 onion, chopped up with scissors
Bok choy (it was starting to go bad😅)

Wet them and put them in a cooking bag,
(This is the cooking bag↓)
500W for 8 minutes
It's not cooked through yet, so,
500W for 4 minutes
Well, it looks about right
Remove the potato eyes with a spoon.

Then, just chop the vegetables up with scissors!

Well, something like this should be fine😁
They're going to break down in the curry anyway👨🍳

Put the vegetables into the
100-yen shop ramen cooker.

I only had thinly sliced pork, so I just tore it by hand and threw it in.

Cut 3 curry roux cubes (for 3 servings) into small pieces with scissors and add them.

Add water,
using the time I usually use to make miso soup in this 100-yen shop ramen cooker as a reference,
600W for 18 minutes

Since I used pork this time, to make sure it's cooked thoroughly,
give it a stir,
600W for 5 minutes
All done👨🍳

The kids
"Yum!"
and they just kept eating silently!
Reflections
1) I was out of potato starch, etc., to thicken it. I should keep better track of my supplies.
2) The amount of water was too random and ended up being too much, so I'll measure it properly next time.
3) Wouldn't it taste even better if I made it, stored it in the fridge, and reheated it to serve the next day or later?
4) I'm gradually discovering that the 100-yen shop ramen cooker is quite versatile. I want to find other ways to use it.

Honestly, I'm starting to think I don't even need a stove anymore.
I want to see just how far I can go with the microwave😁
I'll try some limit-breaking recipes next time~😊
