#23 | The X-linked posting habits I use as a note beginner to keep going

At first, I just posted a link to X whenever I updated my note.
But that didn't get me read, and it didn't spread.

Through trial and error, I now have a routine of
posting news every morning, scheduling 10 posts a day, and interacting on X.

Thanks to this,my X followers have increased to 267, and the number of people coming to my note from there is steadily growing.

I believe this momentum will eventually lead toa monetization funnel.

In this post, I will summarize all the
habits for continuing to post by linking with X that I, as a note beginner, actually use.

The wall of "lack of reach" I felt while continuing note

With note, the real work starts after you write.
But at first, most of my articles had very little engagement even after posting.

One like, and my follower count stayed the same.
There were times I wondered, "Is this actually reaching anyone?"

Even if I felt I had written it well,
if it doesn't appear on someone's timeline, it's the same as not existing.
I realized there were limits to relying only on search and algorithms within note.

So, how do I get it to reach people?
That's when I started utilizingposting on X (formerly Twitter).

I started using X to build a "habit of reaching people"

At first, I just posted a link to X whenever I updated my note.
These were what you call "update report" posts.

But that alone didn't reach anyone.
・No one saw them
・No increase in engagement
・No increase in followers

So I thought about it.
How can I make my posts something that gets discovered?

The answer I arrived at was
to create aposting style as a habiton X as well.

Specifically, I incorporated these changes👇

  • Consistentlybuilding up posts every day

  • Making my own insights and thoughtsvaluable in their own right on X

  • Sharing behind-the-scenes stories or supplementary info for note articles "in advance"

Moving from "just posting a link"
to "creating touchpoints to get people interested."

Since switching to this perspective,
I have started to see reactions to my posts, albeit little by little.

The 'small connections' with readers turned into confidence

One day, I received a comment saying, 'Today's post really hit home!'
It was the moment someone I didn't know reacted to the behind-the-scenes story of a note I had written casually on X.

Even with just those few words, I felt, 'Oh, my message actually reached someone.'

Before that, there were many days with no reaction even after posting, and I would sometimes feel down, thinking, 'Maybe no one is reading...'
But these 'small connections' become the energy for the next post.

Writing on note and posting on X gradually turned into a 'habit I want to continue.'

My posting habit became a 'system'

Now, I post AI news in the morning, thoughts and habit-related topics in the afternoon, and updates or behind-the-scenes content for note in the evening.
By deciding on a certain format for each time slot and theme, I spend less time worrying about 'what should I post?'

📌 The routine I practice

  • Morning: AI news (7:30–8:00)

  • Afternoon: Sharing habits and insights (3–5 scheduled posts per day)

  • Evening: note updates, their background, and related posts

My posts, which were scattered at first, now feel like they have developed into 'my own style.'
Because I have this system, I don't end up with 'zero posts' even on busy days.

'Days with no reaction' were not a waste either

Honestly, there are days when I post 10 times a day and get very little reaction.
But looking back later, I sometimes realize, 'There were people who came to note because of this post.'

Once I understood that there are not only real-time reactions but also 'posts that have an effect later on,'
I have made it a point to just keep posting steadily every day.

That's why recently, rather than whether a post 'went viral or not,'
I have started to value looking at 'what kind of flow led someone to come here.'

Summary | A 'system for continuing' helps your future self

At first, it felt like I wasn't reaching anyone, and the response was zero.
But by linking X and note and gradually refining my 'habit of reaching out,'
before I knew it, my followers increased, I got reactions, and I could see my 'readers.'

Daily posting is nothing more than small accumulations.
But that leads to future note readers, and eventually, to a path for monetization.

SNS depends on how you use it.
By changing it from a "tool for comparison" to a "mechanism for delivery," you will surely be able to continue both your note and your posting.

🟨 Thank you for reading until the end!
On my note, I record the realities of AI x writing habituation and posting know-how.

Your "likes" and "follows" are a great source of encouragement.
Let's grow our "sustainable posting" together 📘✍️
