Bullet Mini-Trip: vol.4
The heat arrived right as the rainy season ended...
It's unbelievably hot every single day...
In the midst of that,
we went on another day-trip mini-vacation!!
You can find vol. 1-3 below
My husband is busy with work every day and comes home late.
The night before his first day off in a while,
he said, "Tomorrow!! Let's go!!"
Oh, that sounds great!!
Actually... there was somewhere I wanted to go!!
As usual, we dropped our son off at the station at 7:00 AM,
and we headed straight out from there! Let's go🙌✨
For this, our fourth trip,
I had a place I secretly wanted to visit.
After two and a half hours on the highway,
in the car, of course,
I was doing my usual machine-gun talking, lol.
But this time, I didn't use my usual line for my husband:
"Hey, are you even listening?!"
Perhaps because he didn't have to keep looking at the navigation on the highway,
he was actually listening for once.😂
Even though last time he said, "I'm only half-listening"... lol
While chatting (mostly me),
we took a break at a service area,
and after about three hours, we arrived at
this shrine I've been wanting to visit for a long time.⛩️

🎋 Tanabata had long passed, but
the decorations on the bamboo strips were swaying and beautiful.

To get here, it was 800m from the parking lot,
with 100 steps.
I was already out of breath after just that,
the air I was breathing was so hot,
I even felt like giving up halfway...
(I have zero stamina)
The cooling towel I had around my neck melted instantly,
and even with a parasol, it was just so hot.💦
My husband, who doesn't usually sweat much, looked cool and collected,
climbing the stairs with ease...
He would look back or stop occasionally
to wait for me, but...he has way too much energy!!

there was a straight line leading all the way to the sea.🌊
I did it—I made it!
It's absolutely beautiful.
However
the reason I wanted to come here wasn't for this view
but because I wanted to see something else
This hot summer
a sight you can only see right now
And here it is

This is what I wanted to see✨

But when I found out there were 12,000 this year, I knew I absolutely had to go!!
It was so sparkling and incredibly beautiful

But the beauty was so captivating that I forgot the heat for a moment🎐

I wonder how much time and effort it must have taken...

But my neck hurts...😂

I was only looking up
but I was moved by this one shot my husband took✨
They almost look like colorful tadpoles... lol

they looked like a different color

They're beautiful and cute
and I love how they each have a different sound
☆Warding off evil . Protection
☆The role of delivering wishes to the gods
Wind chimes have meanings like that
and there are many shrines and other places that hold
wind chime festivals during this time of year
This shrine is a place I've wanted to visit for so long
I'm so happy I could come✨
Thank you for the wonderful view✨
Soaking in the lingering excitement,
we said, 'We're hungry,' and headed to lunch.
If we're going to do it, let's do it on a terrace with an ocean view.

Even though it said it was a beach, there was almost no one there.
Why...!?
Because it's hot!?

a cool breeze was blowing, and it felt great.

Must resist... lol

So stylish!!
The presentation is cute♡
I'll use this as inspiration.

Thank you for the meal!!
We walked on the beach a little and felt the sea breeze.
The sun was sparkling in the sky we looked up at.

Sun!!
It's so hooooot!!
But it's so beautiful!!
The roadside station that we, as a couple, love.
And the botanical garden.
After visiting shops with pottery works and such,
we decided to head home.
I love tableware and such.
Just looking, just looking... I told myself, resisting.
Because, you know... they're expensive... the works by my favorite ceramic artists.
In the midst of that,
my husband found this single-flower vase and said, 'Don't you like this!?'

Its eyes are all wide and round♡ lol
There were others looking to the side or looking down too.
A few hundred yen for a ceramic artist's work is super cheap!!
Plus, I wanted a small single-flower vase!!
So, since both my husband and I liked it,
we decided this would be our souvenir from this trip✨
'Kyoro-Kyoro-kun♡ Let's go home together♡'
Also, not forgetting,
we bought a few souvenirs for my son's friend, 'Wonderful Boy'✨
(Oh. It's food, not pottery.)
Lastly, the one thing we can't forget is
this, as promised😆✨

I look like a glutton eating two at once!! lol
It was hot and I got tired, but
this was another fun day trip✨
※Bonus
Me making a bento the next morning
I was going to use it as a side dish,
but the green pepper I was supposed to have harvested from the garden is gone🫑...
Huh... when I looked over... it's Kyoro-kyoro-kun👀

The look on his face saying 'Something is on my head...' is so cute♡
It seems my son put it there😆
He seems to like it, so I'll leave it for a while lol
The bento side dish has been changed!!
The hot days continue...
Let's both take care of our health
and stay energetic✨
