About the Cool Face Type
Good evening, this is Tomo (@tomo_skincare_).
I had a professional diagnosis done when face type analysis was trending.
The result was "Cool".
It is a mature face type with many straight lines.

Celebrities who are Cool type include:
・Meisa Kuroki
・Yuki Amami
・Shizuka Arakawa
・Oniyakko Tsubaki
・Tomoko Nakajima
They look better in cool styles rather than cute ones,
and have an image of being unapproachable, intimidating, or someone to be respected.
Conflict with the face diagnosis results
I tend to choose cute things over cool ones,
I feel safer doing what everyone else is doing rather than innovating,
and I am the type to panic rather than stay calm and collected.
It is the exact opposite of Cool, which creates conflict.
My inner self and outer appearance do not match.
That is why, even when I was told this suits me, I could not accept it.
Effort to learn to like what suits you
As terms like "image consulting" became mainstream,
I decided to get a consultation myself.
These are the words I was told there:
Whether it is makeup or fashion,
it is not about imitating someone else, but about properly understanding, accepting, and expressing yourself.
If you want to be particular about what you like, please feel free to do so.
But you can shine more by understanding and utilizing your inner and outer self.
Values change. Everything depends on how you want to be.
When I tried cool makeup for the first time,
I found a side of myself that actually liked it.
Even though I had kept denying it out of rebellion,
it changed to "Cool might be good 🎵".
Now I can also choose
mature and cool styles for my fashion.
And then, I was told this as well:
Tomo-chan, you seem intelligent, and I think people around you see you as dignified, don't they?
I have gradually become able to accept myself.
What are you rebelling against?
If you try accepting it, your world might change.
You might find that you were just judging it without trying it.
I will write again!
