That sounds so nice, so nice. Reading Miwori-san's articles makes me want to go on a trip. I can't go right now, but it makes me happy to feel like my heart is already traveling.

I'll also think about recommendations for a first overseas trip. I don't drive abroad, so I use public transportation. Therefore, being easy to sightsee without a car is an important point.

1. South Korea, Seoul
I think it's easy because the flight time is short and there is no time difference.
Whether it's fashion, shopping, gourmet food, or tourist attractions, I think you will be satisfied with everything.
I was able to get around tourist spots using public transportation.

2. New Zealand, Auckland and Rotorua
The time difference is only 3 hours, so it's relatively easy. (During daylight saving time, the time difference is 4 hours.)
There are many things that make you feel like you've come to a foreign country, such as creatures and unique plants that only live in the Southern Hemisphere, and the Maori culture. (You can see geysers in Japan too, but the geysers in Rotorua were magnificent!)
The food is also very delicious.
In Auckland, you can ride buses, ferries, trains, etc., with a common AT HOP card (a card like SUICA).

3. UK, London and France, Paris
It takes a little time if you have a layover instead of a direct flight, but you can go to various places by subway, train, or bus, so you can sightsee without a car.
There are many museums and art galleries, and there are many tourist attractions.
I think those who like shopping will also be satisfied.

As I was writing this article in the evening, my son asked with excited eyes, 'Is New Zealand number two?' When I replied, 'Oh, I wrote this,' he said, 'Oh, that's why.' It seems New Zealand is a special place for him too.
