A little extra pocket money from my first trip to Treasure Factory

The other day, on my day off, I went to Treasure Factory, a recycle shop I'd been curious about for a while.

There wasn't one in my neighborhood, so I took the train to the store at the next station.
(It was easy to find, just a short walk from the station.)

While checking reviews before going, I found out they had an app, so I signed up immediately💡

I brought 25 items to test them out, including character goods, unused electronics, and a T-shirt I'd never worn, among other things...

I packed up all the unwanted items that had been sleeping in my closet into a large paper bag and took them with me.

When I arrived at the store, I scanned my membership card from my smartphone, was given a receipt with a number, and waited for the appraisal results.

(I'm so glad I pre-registered on the app!)

While waiting, I browsed the store and was surprised to see figures selling for quite cheap, so I wandered around the shop while hoping I might get about 1,000 or 2,000 yen for my items...

About 50 minutes later, I got a notification on my smartphone that the appraisal was finished!

And the results I was curious about were...

✨ Got 2,340 yen in pocket money!💰✨

The electronics buyback was during a 20% bonus period, so that applied, and I didn't end up using the registration coupon💡

I was planning on throwing these unwanted items away anyway, so I was happy to get a bit more for them than I imagined😎

【Thoughts】
At first, I wondered if I could do it properly, but since I had pre-registered on the app, everything went smoothly once I arrived at the store.

However, I went around noon on a weekday and had a 50-minute wait, so it's probably best to be prepared for it to take longer on weekends and holidays.

Even if the appraisal takes time, they let you know via app notification, so I thought it was great that I could kill time outside the store.

I still have treasures(?) of unwanted items sleeping at home, so I think I'll take a walk to Treasure Factory again to increase my pocket money💰

On the way home, I stopped by a bookstore and found an Ichiban Kuji for FF7 (Final Fantasy 7), so I played it once~

I'm curious about what's inside...

It looks just like the character from the game screen turned into a figure, so I got really excited~✨

The extra pocket money I made disappeared almost instantly, but it was a fun day off, haha.
