February 2026 Review (Almost 1 Year on Note)

Well, February! Since it only has 28 days, it went by in a flash.

With that said, it's the end-of-the-month tradition. Here is this month's review article♪

Number of Articles

Well then, let's start with the number of articles.

Since I've been working from home since last month, I did pretty well in January with 24 articles,
(I gave up on daily posting right from the start of the year lol)

So, how did February turn out!!

Wow, I worked hard even though there were only 28 days. I want to praise myself (lol

And! Since I wrote 33 articles in just 28 days, you'd think I posted every day, right?

I didn't write any articles on February 8th, 13th, 19th, and 26th, so it seems I'm still skipping daily posts😁

I had a lot of events, like selling my Mac and buying a new used PC, so there were days when I wrote two articles.

Well, I want to praise myself for working surprisingly hard this month (again

Follower Count & View Count

Next up are the follower count and view count.

First, the follower count from last month was 480.

Since I was on the verge of 500, I wrote about whether I could celebrate 500 followers in February,

and it resulted in an increase of 58, reaching 538 followers!!

It turned out to be a happy development where I could celebrate my one-year anniversary and the 500-follower milestone at the same time♪

Next is the view count!!

Last month, I was thrilled to set a new record with 60,000 views, but since this month only has 28 days, I expected it would be tough... but!!

I unexpectedly broke my record again with 71,580 views!!!

The reason for this is that my article about the iPad keyboard was actually selected as a "Featured Article of the Day," and thanks to that, I received a lot of traffic.

It was a month where I experienced for the first time that being selected as an official note featured article brings in an order of magnitude more views.

Well, even without that article, I would have reached nearly 60,000 views, so I think I did a good job for a short 28-day month.

Earnings, etc.

Finally, let's take a rough look at the earnings.

My site has a high percentage of bicycle-related goods, and since things don't go very well in the winter, it was about 30,000 yen last month. I wonder how this short month will turn out? (As of the morning of 2/28)

Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!! An unexpected 10,000 yen increase from the previous month!?

If this had been a 31-day month, it probably would have reached around 45,000 yen, so in a way, it might have been close to a new record (lol
(The all-time record is 46,000 yen from last November)

Summary

With all that said, February was a month I didn't have high expectations for. It was a delightful month where various areas grew more than I had anticipated.

For us, this is currently the off-season!

It looks like it might grow a bit more once spring and summer arrive, making for a pleasant afternoon at the end of February♪
