Clips.

They are rarely noticed in our daily lives, but perhaps they are the kind of existence that would leave us in immediate trouble if they were gone.

In the morning, if you spread out your documents with a freshly brewed cup of coffee in one hand, it is a small paperclip holding the pages together.
If you organize presentation materials at the office, a binder clip stands tall and straight, bundling your documents together.
If you hang out the laundry, clothespins play with the wind, and if you tie back your hair, a hair clip holds it gently.

Yes, our lives are supported, without us even realizing it, by these small existences called clips.
