I suddenly decided to participate in a group exhibition around the end of next month.
The exhibition title is "Flowers Underground."
I thought about submitting past works, but after some back and forth, I decided I really wanted to create something new! So, for the first time in a while, I'm working hard with my hands. I have a feeling that 80% of it will be new work.
I don't usually share making-of content, but I thought I might as well record it for once, so I started taking some photos.
I wanted to use masking ink for my watercolor painting, but I don't have any on hand, and being the impatient person I am, I decided to "do my best and apply masking tape."
Hmm! Isn't it not bad!
Like this, I'm creating things with quite a bit of brute force.
I also plan to exhibit works using thin Japanese paper, as well as prints combined with pen drawings.
Lately, I've been deeply involved with my PC and haven't been able to draw much due to work, so as I work with my hands, I'm realizing once again that this time spent immersed in creation is truly important for me.

"Flowers Underground"
A joint exhibition tracing the presence and traces of living things through paintings, clay works, picture books (ZINEs), and more.
*There will be sales of miscellaneous goods and some exhibits.
