The ginkgo leaves have turned almost entirely yellow
The title photo is of
the ginkgo tree
that I see from the corner of the neighbor's parking lot
where I sweep up fallen leaves every morning,
located beyond the wall of the neighborhood community center.
There is a cherry tree in the foreground,
and until now, it has mainly been cherry leaves
that have danced down onto the asphalt.
I don't mean to brag, but
I'm hopeless when it comes to plants and trees,
not knowing what kind of tree that is (the one that makes you curious lol),
and I didn't even know what kind of tree
that tall one on the other side was, haha.

ginkgo and cherry trees

Ginkgo and cherry trees on a day when the morning moon is in the sky

I looked back at how
the ginkgo leaves gradually turned yellow
over these past 20 days or so.
No, I...
I wouldn't go so far as to say that sweeping is suffering,
but I can't deny that I do it
while feeling a certain amount of stress.
If everything you did was easy
and you were completely stress-free,
you might look happy, but in reality...
I don't think that's necessarily the case.
People are human precisely because they have emotions,
and joy exists because of sadness.
The desire to enjoy things
and the desire to be moved
are things we wish for
because we also experience suffering and sadness.
By facing what you honestly feel,
expressing it honestly,
having someone there to listen,
and having them say something back...
isn't happiness always right there beside us?
Dawn sky

The eastern sky from behind the shrine.
The sky looks somewhat reddish.
No stars this morning either.

The southern sky from the parking lot to the west.
It looks somewhat reddish.
The ginkgo tree I introduced at the beginning is towering in yellow.

The eastern sky.
The clouds are thick again today,
and the sky has started to turn blue.

and the clouds are thick again today.
Dragon's beard and happy red and yellow fallen leaves

What will it become?
