Wednesday is the strongest day of the week: It's okay to slack off in the first half. You can get back on track with your consistency starting Wednesday.
Good evening, here is today's achievement tip.
It's already Wednesday this week.
To those who worked hard,
to those who didn't,
and to those who are feeling a bit tired,
thank you for your efforts up to today.
Are you a little tired of not being able to keep things up?
“I gave up after three days again.”
“I meant to do it, but I couldn't do it at all.”
“I hate myself for not having any motivation.”
I have thought that many times too.
So I understand.
Consistency is harder than you think.
But,
“not being able to continue” is not a bad thing.
It just means you haven't found the righttimingorrhythmthat suits you yet.
Wednesday morning is your “habit inspection day”
Wednesday, the middle of the week.
I use this as acheckpoint for consistency.
How were Monday and Tuesday?
Are you doing the actions you planned?
If your rhythm was a bit off, can you get it back on track?
Ask yourself this
just a little bit on Wednesday morning.
If you were doing it, just keep going.
If you weren't,
just slowly get back to it starting today.
I believe consistency is not about “doing things perfectly,” but rather
the ability to recover when things fall apart.
Wednesday night is the moment you decide to “quit or continue”
Honestly, Wednesday night is when your spirit is most likely to break.
The fatigue of the week builds up,
and it's a time when you're likely to think, “That's enough for today.”
But if you can move, even for just 10 minutes,
even just a little bit.
That one time
turns into a small sense of self-affirmation.
Rather than “what you accomplished,”
“not quitting”
has a much greater meaning for consistency.
Habits aren't about “guts.” They are about systems and temperature.
You don't have to try hard.
Just make time to “look at yourself” once a week,
on Wednesday.
・If things are going well, acknowledge it
・If you've been slacking off, use it as a chance to get back on track
With just that "one rhythm per week,"
habits start to run much more easily.
The difference between those who "keep going" and those who "quit" is just a tiny bit.
You might think, "Amazing people have special talents."
But in reality, that's not the case.
It's different.
Even if it's just for 10 minutes,
can you think, "Let's try it again today"?
People who can keep going
are just stacking up those "small, single actions."
Wednesday is the day to warm up your consistency again.
It's hard to keep working hard for a whole week.
But if you can just get yourself in order in the middle of the week, on Wednesday,
you can spend the rest of the week being more like yourself.
Whether you've succeeded or not,
please take a moment to look back at yourself today.
Just one last thing.
Consistency
is born from "kindness," not "strength."
Don't blame yourself too much,
take a little time to get yourself in order,
and you can just start moving quietly again.
Wednesday morning and night.
I would be happy if you could use this timing
to help build your habits.
Please take a moment to reflect on yourself today.
On a scale of 1 to 10, what score would you give yourself right now?
How do you want to spend the rest of this week?
If you feel like putting it into words,
feel free to leave a comment or send a DM.
Please, let me know.
"I couldn't keep it up again..." Don't let it end with those words.
It's okay to have days where you can't do it.
Even if there are nights you can't keep going, you can just start again.
Once I started thinking that way, my heart felt lighter.
I wrote this note with that kind of kindness in mind👇
Thank you so much for reading until the end today!
If you found this article helpful, useful, or motivating, I would be incredibly happy if you could leave a like or a comment!
