Writing Style

I think a writing style is like a person's personality in their writing.

Since I started using note, I've been writing and deleting things, always wondering what kind of writing style is closest to my own self-identity...?

I don't know if there are others like me, but my note posts sometimes use the 'desu-masu' style and sometimes the 'da-dearu' style. Since it's quite inconsistent, some people might be thinking, 'What kind of person is this? Are they some kind of writing-style Ashuraman?'

In short, I feel that neither style really feels like me.

When I was writing a lot for work, I basically used the 'desu-masu' style.
So, even now, it's easier for me to write in the 'desu-masu' style.
However, I have a habit of slipping into work mode, or trying to be too logical.

I feel like the 'da-dearu' style allows me to write more directly about my feelings, but at the same time, it doesn't quite feel like me... that's the impression I get.

The reason for this is that in real life, I basically use polite language with everyone, regardless of whether they are older or younger than me. Using polite language is the safe bet, regardless of how close I am to someone, and it saves me from unnecessary stress.

When I try to use polite language, my tone naturally becomes calmer. As a result, people around me naturally perceive me as 'calm and kind.' I think this benefit has served me well throughout my life.

I haven't found an answer yet, but I think I will continue to write note posts in various styles in the future.

If there is anyone who regularly reads my note posts, I would be happy if you could just watch over me with the feeling of 'they're doing it again~'.
