Hello! This is Hii-san.

I decided to treat myself to a little luxury. It's called a
Morning Mac breakfast.

The time spent waiting for a burger to arrive while snuggled up in bed.
It's pure royal time, a noble kind of indulgence.

I ordered the sweet and slightly salty Griddle, and my boyfriend ordered the Mega Muffin as a set.

Yes, the hash browns that come with the set.
I really love those♡
Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside,
the perfect trinity of oil, salt, and potato.
Eating them while they're piping hot is part of the fun.

And then, the reality of rising prices hits.

I added nuggets, and when it came time to pay... wait,

Over 2,000 yen!?

Plus, it seems you can't use coupons for delivery.
It doesn't get any cheaper than this.

With the delivery fee added on top,
the total just keeps climbing.
It makes me want to question
if this is really fast food.

Come to think of it, when I was a child, it shouldn't have cost this much.

I feel like a Filet-O-Fish set used to cost about 300-400 yen. Maybe.
Now it's 600 yen, apparently over a single coin.

It must be the effect of the recent rise in prices.

This luxury first thing in the morning. It tastes so sinful.
The sense of guilt acts as a spice,
making it taste even better.

While savoring the sweet and salty taste of the Griddle,
I wash it all down with a soft drink.
The hash browns are also the best.

The meal was over in the blink of an eye.
