'How to Raise Subordinates Who Think and Act for Themselves' ③

Let’s have a reading experience 📖

Once again,
to organize my own thoughts and reflect,
I am uploading my book review ♪

While reading this book,
here are 3 points where I thought, "Oh, this is important!" ☝️✨️

① For a subordinate to become "somewhat independent"

First, as a major premise,
what you really can't avoid is
"mastering basic tasks" ☆

But that alone isn't enough.
What's important is
the habit of going to ask when you don't understand something. ♫

And then, the
《hypothetical thinking》of "hypothesis → test → revise."

When this starts spinning around,
I felt that the subordinate
takes a step forward from "waiting for instructions" to "someone who thinks and acts for themselves"~~

② Ask questions instead of scolding

This really hit home ☆
Even if you scold them point-blank,
"only the person saying it feels better," and
in reality, it often doesn't really resonate...

What I want to do instead is
try changing it into a question.

For example,
"Why did you do it this way?"
instead of,
"Oh, was that really okay?"
"If there were other ways to do it, what would they be?"

This "question"
expands the "room for thought" within the subordinate.

Not scolding, butengaging in a way that helps them realize it.
I want to cherish this ♪

③ Tips for continuing to grow

The common trait of people who grow
is incredibly simple ✨️✨️

Don't leave "I don't know" as it is ♫

Honestly try to learn

Thoroughly imitate people who are doing well

And,
"Imitate → Verify → Improve → Practice" ☆

Keep this cycle spinning.

Conversely,
"things not going well" isn't a failure, but
a sign to "try changing your approach"♪
This gave me a lot of courage~~

To my future self

To be honest,
the speed at which I cycle through this "imitate → verify → improve → practice" process
is still way too slow💨

So,
I'm changing my strategy from now on⭐️
First, I'll "mindlessly" and "wholeheartedly" imitate the example♪♪
Without overthinking,
I'll just act first.🏃💨 And then, quickly fail three times♪

The fourth time. This is where the real start begins~~~
