This is a story from a few years ago. In the half year I didn't see her,
Mom developed dementia and needed diapers. Furthermore, my
two older brothers' developmental disabilities were discovered. How did Rereko face the problems at her parents' home

By the way, as of episode 13, it's only been a little over two weeks.

So anyway,
My brothers were denied welfare,
but there were other things that were progressing, like the nursing care certification I had applied for before that.
I had heard from the social worker that
“some people end up being able to move around on the day of the assessment,” so I told my mother that, but she ended up being full of energy and moving around anyway, which made me laugh lol
My mom had lost muscle strength and couldn't stand for long periods of time, but
“How do I move my arms and legs again?”
It seemed like there were times when she would forget how to move, as if she felt like that.
And, as I drew in the manga,the 'Bath Incident'—
Mom would suddenly stop moving, and I couldn't move her at all.
Kotata has strange strength and isn't capable of being considerate of others, so it was honestly really scary. 💧
I realized that when it comes to nursing care, it's better to borrow help from professionals whenever you can.
At the time,
when I was searching online before the nursing care certification assessment,
I read things like “You shouldn't say unnecessary things to the assessor,”
“Huh? Am I not supposed to tell the assessor about Mom's usual state? I'm nervous.”
I was worried. 💧
But on the day,
I was relieved because they listened to me with such empathy, just like in the manga,
but when I look it up online now,
it says, “You should also tell the assessor about their usual condition.”
What's up with the information online?
You end up being swayed by the information.
It's one thing to try to make things sound worse than they are by saying, “It's better to get a higher nursing care level rating!” but I also see cases where people don't get the appropriate services because they were in better shape than usual on the day of the assessment and received a lighter rating than expected,
so if you ever have to apply for nursing care certification,
“tell the assessor about their usual condition”is something that I think is worth remembering. ( ´∀｀)
