The short-form video platform "TikTok" has announced that Kento Kaku will serve as guest presenter and Okazu Club as MC for "TikTok Awards Japan" 2024, to be held on Thursday, December 5.
Guest presenter Kento Kaku received a special award at the "TikTok First Half Trend Awards 2023" and also appeared in the TikTok web commercial "Triggers, flowing in.," released in September 2024. On the day of "TikTok Awards Japan" 2024, he is scheduled to appear at the ceremony to honor creators, including presenting trophies for the "TikTok Trend Awards 2024" and to the winner of the "Creator of the Year" award, given to the creator who was most active on TikTok in 2024.
The MCs will be the comedy duo Okazu Club, who are active in a wide range of fields including variety shows, dramas, and movies, as well as freelance announcer Junichi Tosaka, who also served as MC for the "Learning About Climate Change Together" Project 2024 Forum" held on Sunday, November 24.
