“What on Earth is This Department” Information Board No. 2: Featuring “Inu wo Kaburu.” (Wearing a Dog)

Welcome to the back alleys of the note city. It is time to ponder the Monday that blew us away and count down the days until the next holiday.

“What on Earth is This Department” was born suddenly, right across from the row of “What is This Story Department” and “Who Cares Department.” It is a department that arbitrarily explains and guides you through articles that make you think, “What on earth is this?”
I aim to be a department where I have fun, and the person being explained might feel a little stung—or even stabbed—depending on the case.
Finding and enjoying such “What on earth is this?” back-alley dwellers is the sole management philosophy of this department.
And this is part of my fan activities.
If I can contribute even a little to the goal of the person I support, who spent three years all alone in the back alleys asking, “What is this story?”—that feeling alone is why I started this.

The people and articles I explain and guide are decided by my own arbitrary judgment and prejudice from among the back-alley dwellers. Whether or not we follow each other or how often we interact daily has nothing to do with it.

My Dog is the Best Department

They are proving that their dog is the cutest in the world. I have absolutely no objections to this. I only have empathy. I also think my own pug sisters are the cutest in the world. However, since I don't understand what the proof is saying, I think Inu wo Kaburu.-san and I will be on parallel lines forever, even while empathizing with each other.

A Little Sentimental Department

I think everyone has had the experience of making someone a little sad as a result of following their own sensibilities, and feeling a little disappointed in themselves for it. It seems they were driven by a sense of mission after hearing the news about Mister Donut's price hikes, thinking, 'We need a donut that sells like crazy.' They are showing off the cursive writing they just started practicing while trying to plan a donut that would definitely sell. I have no idea what they are talking about. I am from the last generation that learned cursive in school, but I have completely forgotten it.

They got the idea for the donut from an SDGs badge, but it seems it was rejected without being proposed to Duskin. That's a shame. Since they went to the trouble, I'd like them to try making it themselves. I don't know if color sprinkles even come in that many colors. Things I love about 'Wearing a Dog.'

I love this attitude so much. And I can empathize with it. I also write things that are fun for me to look back on. My ideal world is one where people who like my work gather because I was writing for myself. I am incredibly happy that there is a writer who can say that their number one fan is themselves. As long as I am my own biggest fan, I believe my pen will never break.
