The one thing to keep in mind when screen sharing
The other day, I attended a webinar called the "Perfect Utilization Course" for an SEO tool we use at work, and I was moved by "a certain consideration" shown by the speaker.
That is...
Zooming in on the PC screen
is what it is.
You might think, "Is that all?" but honestly, I was really grateful for it.
During the seminar, the speaker explained things while screen-sharing the tool's manual site, and thanks to the zoomed-in display, the text was large and very easy to read.
Moreover, every time the speaker opened a different site in a new browser tab, they took the trouble to zoom in and increase the text size each time.
Thanks to that, I was able to read the text on the screen smoothly without any stress, and without having to strain my eyes.
In my daily work, when materials are shared on a conference room monitor during in-person meetings, or when materials are shown using the screen sharing function of Zoom or Microsoft Teams during remote meetings,
I often think, "Ah, the text is so small that it's hard to read... I wish they would zoom in a little more..."
so I really respect people who can naturally show such consideration 🥺
I, too, will try to keep in mind to zoom in and increase the text size as much as possible when I share my screen during meetings!
By the way, to zoom in on your PC screen, you can:
Press the [+] button for [Zoom] from the vertical or horizontal three-dot menu in the top right of each browser
Press the [Ctrl] key and the [+] key on your keyboard at the same time
Hold down the [Ctrl] key on your keyboard and scroll the mouse wheel forward
...and there are other methods like this.
I think methods 2 or 3 are quite easy, so please try them out casually during your presentations!
It will definitely boost your credibility! 🤗
