[Weverse] Before Watching Your Favorite's Live Streaming [Tickets]
[Update: 2025/11/3] Reflecting on lessons learned from "#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE"
Summary of learning results: "Streaming Tickets"
Although I had never experienced a BTS online live stream before, I attended every stream and delay (rebroadcast) of "Hope on the Stage"—except when I was there in person—because I wanted to see our J-HOPE's solo tour. It was so much fun...!!
You can find my impressions in the "Related Articles" summary ( *´艸`)
This Hobi solo tour Seoul concert ("j-hope Tour <HOPE ON THE STAGE> in SEOUL") was my first time buying tickets since falling down the BTS rabbit hole, so I had to treat everything as a learning opportunity.
I know the full group tour is coming next...!!
I never imagined Jin would start his run before the full group did, so I was looking off into the distance back then... but there's no time for that, so I'd like to summarize the results of what I've learned here!
Learn it, then summarize and reflect on it—that's the good student's study style ( *´艸`)
The process of buying, authenticating, and watching tickets
Before you buy, go to the viewing page!
When the announcement comes that streaming will be available, go to Weverse SHOP. Streaming tickets are sold under "LIVE".

You'll want to buy them immediately, but Baby ARMYs, please stop for a moment and continue reading this article. Oh, and pros, feel free to buy them right away!
First, open the details page for any ticket.
There is a URL here for the actual online streaming venue, so go there.

By the way, if you lose track of this URL, you'll end up panicking on the day of the event ( ;∀;)
Please pin to your mind that you can get there from "Weverse My Page > Weverse Concert" or the ticket page in the SHOP.

I made a collection of links for myself and put it in there.
The venue site only contains important information
Everything you need to know is written here, so if you're not used to it, please try to read it all. The following are especially important:
Viewing Plan & Number of Connections
・Single View (4K/HD): Up to 1 device can be connected at a time.
・Multi-View (HD Multi-View 4, Multi-View 4 + 4K Single View): Up to 2 devices can be connected at a time.
Image Quality
4K: 4K, 1080p
HD: 1080p, 720p, 540p, 480p, 360p / AUTO
Recommended Playback Environment
・4K viewing requires an internet speed of at least 30Mbps.
・You may not be able to watch properly if you are not in the recommended playback environment.
There is even a page to check 4K video, so if you want to watch it, definitely check it here.
Also, if you want to use mirroring, make sure to check in advance here too!!
There are many cases where people say "I can't watch it!" right before it starts on the day.
Previously, there was an announcement that TV viewing of Weverse content would be phased out, but judging by the chat waiting for the show, regarding TV output, there were many reports that "it doesn't connect from the Weverse app" but "it could be watched via Chromecast or a wired connection from a PC/monitor."
It is written like this on the explanation page, and it seems people are actually able to watch it.
・For smooth viewing, please connect in an environment with an internet speed of 20Mbps or higher. On shared networks, connection may not be smooth even at 20Mbps or higher. For 4K quality, viewing is only possible at a minimum of 30Mbps or higher.
・Data usage may increase when using 3G, LTE, or 5G.
・Quality selection is not available on iOS, and the quality will be set to AUTO depending on the network environment.
・Depending on the device you are using, you can click the transfer button (Cast to TV or AirPlay to TV) on the viewing screen to use Chromecast or AirPlay. Please check the instruction manual of your device for details.
・Normal viewing or video and sound quality may be affected by communication, data conditions, and other external factors.
・If you watch in an environment other than the recommended playback environment, normal viewing may not be possible.
This is a matter of compatibility and line conditions, so I highly recommend checking in advance. I'll say it twice because it's important.
In terms of browsers, Chrome is more stable, and a wired connection is more stable than AirPlay, so please try it first and confirm it's okay before purchasing a ticket.
To avoid wasting your precious ticket, advance checking is essential!
Buy a ticket
There are various types of tickets. First, look at this.

Even if you choose 4K, it's meaningless if the monitor or cable you're watching on doesn't support it, so if you don't know which one you have, first search for "TV model number resolution 4K HD".
If it doesn't resolve, it's also an option to consult your wallet and choose the one you like (I'm leaving it to you). Try watching the 4K check video in advance too!

Whether you choose multi-view (you can choose single or split-screen) or single-view (only one screen) is a matter of preference, but since delay (rebroadcast) is only available in single-view, multi-view feels like a better deal.
However, since it's also a matter of mental processing, I think single-view is fine for those who focus on one point. In the case of multi-view, you can zoom in on your favorite camera, but it takes a few seconds to switch, so if you do it at a good moment, you'll end up feeling frustrated. Beware!
Oh, if you want to watch on both TV and smartphone, please choose multi-view.
As mentioned in the explanation quoted above, you cannot connect two devices at the same time with single-view.
Once you buy a ticket, "authenticate"!
After buying a ticket, first return to the venue site to confirm that you have obtained it correctly.
Press the "Authenticate" button here. If authenticated, congratulations. You have obtained the right to watch your favorite artist!

All that's left is to participate on the day. Probably!
Notes for the day
In the case of "Hope on the Stage FINAL", the flow is like this.
-
Doors open one hour before
If they are free, the artists will sometimes send chats
MVs will start playing halfway through, so check that there are no problems with playback
(Sound plays continuously during the MVs)
-
The start is usually delayed by a few minutes
-
Once the performance starts, it's safer to close the chat window (because it slows things down)
*I don't know how to close it on the smartphone app
-
If the screen is stuttering, please lower the image quality using the gear icon.

If things aren't working well, just try restarting. After you log back in, don't forget to turn on subtitles with the "CC" button!
Oh, and sometimes mysterious numbers appear on the screen; these are to prevent illegal streaming, so good fans don't need to worry about them.
On the day of the event, the chat moves so fast that it's hard to have a conversation. If you have any trouble, it's more reliable to ask on other SNS like X.
Sometimes a very patient saint will reply, so if your issue matches theirs, consider yourself lucky and vow to check things in advance next time ( ;∀;)
Is the delay (rebroadcast) any different?
The delay is broadcast a week later, but please note that the start time is different from the live performance, so don't get them mixed up.
If multiple times are listed and you're not sure which one is correct, please refer to the one marked "KST." This is Korea Standard Time, which has no time difference from Japan.
From what I've seen, I think the subtitles are the same as on the day of the event.
That's all!
I basically watch on my PC, so I can't be of much help with mirroring, but I've seen people who seem to be watching from karaoke boxes, which looks fun. You can have a karaoke party right after it ends ( *´艸`)
This weekend is the Dalmajung tour in Goyang, then the Goyang delay, and once that's over, Jin-kun will finally descend upon Kyocera. Kyaa!!
To have the live BTS members walking on the same land every month—how much merit must we have accumulated in our past lives? It's so precious that it feels like Japanese land prices might go up. Thank you!
Oh, for those going to Kyocera, please also check out the "Related Articles."
Well then, ARMY everyone, let's meet again in the venue chat, at Kyocera, or in the sea of the internet!
