[BTS WORLD] Strategy Notes for F2P Beginners [Season 2]
[Update: 2025/05/06] Updated coupon information
F2P beginners, let's do this together!
The end of the year is fast approaching, ARMYs!
Even though I'm busy with so many things left to do, I couldn't help but start playing BTS's new social game.
I only heard rumors that you could play as a manager in the previous game and was envious, but I never expected a sequel to come out!
I started just wanting to know what kind of game it was, but since it's a sequel to a game that's already been polished, there's so much to do lol.
I can basically only play on weekday nights, so it's frustrating. I feel like I might end up going to buy a Google Play gift card for microtransactions somewhere...
This time, I've compiled my strategy notes for 🔰 ARMYs who aren't used to social games but decided to give it a try! I hope this is helpful even a little (*ノωノ)
By the way, I'm currently at LV16, Chapter 8, and Magic Shop 12, so I think I've experienced most of the game's mechanics.
Starting the game
Notes before starting
In the beginning, there will be data downloads every time something happens, so make sure to play in a Wi-Fi environment when you have time!
The member you choose first will become your guide character.
You get an SSR of that member in the tutorial, and since the download takes so long, it feels like there's no need for rerolling (re-selecting random cards).
By the way, you can change your guide character by going to 'Member Room > Go to favorite member's room > Register to Lobby'.
Main terminology
SOWOOZOO: Stage
BTSLAND: Deco Island (production, friend interaction, facility construction, and decoration)
Feather: Stamina (required for stage challenges; recovers over time)
Goals and things to do
Basic goals
Collect cards, grow them to increase combat power, and advance through stages
-> To do that, you need to develop your Deco Island
Daily tasks
This is the basic stuff for grinding games.
-
Use up all your feathers
When you don't have time, you can use 'Auto Clear' to consume them in bulk
Complete all daily missions
Advance through missions and quests as much as possible
Develop your Deco Island
As a beginner, start by logging in every day and doing your daily missions.
After that, repeat 1 and 2.
1. Fight until you run out of wings
2. Level up the cards in your main deck
If you get stuck, level up the SR cards not in your deck, starting with attributes not currently in your deck.
Things to do if you have time
You should do these every day too, but since they require frequent communication and can be a hassle, it's better to do them all at once while at home.
Watch ads to get items
-
Visit friends' islands and help out
If a '!' appears, they are requesting help, but even without it, if you visit someone who is 'online,' they are often producing items, making it easy to help.
Facilities currently producing items have a heart icon; tap it to randomly receive items based on the facility.
Go back to previous stages, clear them all with 3 stars, and collect the rewards
Pull from the Piece Gacha and Friendship Gacha (we hope for a speed-up feature > Management)
How to use Gold and Gems
Basically, the following are the top priorities.
-
Gold
Increase the environment of your Deco Island (place trees and other decorations)
Level up your cards
-
Gems
Draw cards!!
Expand production item slots (for those who can't check the game frequently)
If F2P or low-spending players use gold for gacha, there is a possibility that you will run out of money needed for the environment or to level up cards, which will slow down your progress, so it is recommended not to do so until you understand the situation.
Tips for game strategy

Cards
-
Collect cards (main goal)
-
Clear stages, missions, quests, deliveries, etc., to save up gold, tickets, and gems for gacha draws
However, refrain from using gold for gacha (see previous section)
Collecting card pieces allows you to draw a guaranteed gacha, but since you can't tell them apart from cards you already have, it's recommended to take notes before drawing
Every dayyou can draw gacha by watching ads!
-
-
Strengthen your cards (Essential)
-
To level up, you need the item "Memorial Disc" and gold.
"Memorial Discs" can also be produced on the Deco Island, so progress through the Magic Shop.
The priority for leveling up cards is as follows:
SSR received at the start > SR in the main deck > SR not in the main deck
-
-
Awaken (SSR only)
-
Use the specific item "XX Moment"
At Magic Shop 12, you can build a Moment Factory, but it takes about 20 hours per item.
This can be shortened by leveling up the facility.
-
-
Evolving
If you get a duplicate card from the gacha, you receive stars, and collecting these allows you to evolve your cards (which slightly increases their stats).
Note:
Having a strong support deck (cards not in your main deck are used, prioritizing those with high attack power) is also advantageous, so it's easier to win if you level up at least one card of each attribute outside of your main deck.

The image above shows the cards I use for my support deck.
I level them up a bit and use AUTO to grind through weak stages while consuming stamina, clearing the "Play 100 times" missions. Since 8 cards fit in a deck, every little bit helps. It's a shame there's no deck save feature. Please add one, developers!
It's a shame there's no deck save feature. Developers, please!
*It seems that the number of times I've run stages using "Auto Clear" doesn't count toward the "Play mission stages" count. The counts for cards I started using at the same time should be the same, but they are all different. It doesn't seem to be the number of times they appeared as support either, so I wonder what it's counting. Is it the number of times they dealt damage while in the deck?
Stage (SOWOOZOO)
-
The goal is to level up your cards, fight, and clear the stages.
Do not attempt stages if your combat power is lower than the enemy's.
You can always go back and try for a 3-star clear later, so your first goal is just to win.
-
Tips for battling
Aim for bonus missions while using cards with high numbers.
If you aren't aiming for 3 stars and have a power advantage, you can use "AUTO," but the AI is quite dim, and once you use it, itstays ON for the next battle, so be careful.
The enemy will hide card attributes and numbers, so it's useful to take a screenshot of your main deck until you memorize them.
-
For stages you've cleared with 3 stars, you can use "Auto-Clear Tickets" and wings to auto-farm, so do this when your stamina is about to overflow.
Ideally, you should do this on stages that drop special materials, but I haven't found any yet (added later?).
Clearing specific member stages will trigger exclusive bundles (paid packs), but once they appear, you must buy them within the time limit (about 2 days on average). If you want to spend money according to your budget, be careful not to check the stages immediately and adjust your progress accordingly.
What does "stamina is about to overflow" mean?
Wings (stamina) recover over time, but they won't exceed the maximum value.
Even if you accidentally receive too many wings from your inbox and exceed the maximum, they won't increase any further. This state is called "stamina overflow."
To avoid this, it is most time-efficient to always use up your stamina and keep it in a recovering state.

-
When you get stuck
Level up cards with attributes strong against the stage you are trying to clear
-
Auto-clear stages you have already 3-starred to spend wings while leveling up yourself and your Deco Island
You will eventually accumulate items, so upgrade your cards and try again
Deco Island (BTSLAND)
-
Level up the Magic Shop and build facilities to produce items
-
Run deliveries (herbs, streetcars, etc.) to earn EXP and items
Storage capacity will run out, so it is a strategy to leave items you received or crafted unclaimed to save space, but be careful as the mailbox has an expiration date (also, maybe this is why the Deco Island is laggy lol)
-
Once you build the Gift Shop, you can trade produced items for items to give to members in the Member Room
In the previous game, it seems events were triggered by increasing affinity, but now it only seems to be for "clearing achievements" and "getting gems for increasing affinity" (maybe added later?)
-
-
Place decorations to increase environmental points
-
Don't forget to check 'Build > Sets', place one of each type, and claim the set completion rewards
If it's hard to place items, turn 'Edit > OFF' to hide buildings for a better view
-
Placing animals (friends) also has effects and provides unlock rewards, so don't miss them
Rumor has it that if your friends get tired, you should improve the environment
-
-
Be careful with area expansion
Expansion is necessary when you run out of space, but it costs gold, so be mindful of when you start construction (gold shortages are common due to game balance)
Friends (up to 30 people)
-
You can help friends with production and deliveries
-
The "!" on the friend list indicates they are requesting help
However, due to time differences or other factors, the accuracy is not great
-
It seems you can help the same friend once with production and once with delivery per day (up to 2 times total)
When a friend is producing, a 💜 appears above the facility; tapping it lets you receive one of the items that can be produced at that facility
If a friend has set up a delivery request, you can provide the items they need on their behalf
-
You can send a gift to friends once every day
For those who have real-life friends playing, I thought of a strategy: use the "receive one of the items that can be produced at that facility" feature to have them produce the items you need, then visit them immediately to collect them. It's random, so it's not guaranteed, though.
Leveling up
-
Increasing your level raises your maximum wings, allowing you to play more stages
It becomes easier to obtain stage and mission completion rewards
-
Experience points can be obtained by clearing stages and through Deco Island delivery events
Deco Island deliveries (herbs) also provide money and are quite efficient
Things to remember
Basics!
"!" and "?" marks provide help information, so if you are unsure about something, tap them to read the explanation
On screens with a treasure chest icon, you can obtain items by completing certain tasks (completion rewards), so check the conditions
If you see a red dot, it basically means you've missed a reward, so go look for it.
If there's anything you don't understand, you can also ask questions in the community.

Coupons and Value Items
To enter coupons, go to the lobby, tap the '≡' menu in the bottom left, and select 'Options > Others > Coupon'. Basically, the deco items you get from token exchanges have god-tier stats, so make sure to get them!

The BGM change feature you can't miss
You can change the BGM via 'Options > Game > Change BGM'. No wonder the data was so incredibly heavy... I mean, as expected of the official team, what a god-tier feature!!

Well then, I'm off to play the game!
For now, this is how I'm playing.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM on X!
