[BTS] Bangtan x Gaming Channels ① [Free Fire, Fortnite]

It's getting colder, ARMYs.
With the end of the year already approaching, as a housewife, this is the time when I start to feel a bit of pressure to 'get the house cleaned up soon.' Let's get this year's dirt cleaned up within this year...!
So, I decided to try organizing my playlists. Why, you ask?

It's been a year and a half since I started looking for BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) videos.
I learned that there are many things outside of the official channel series and Weverse, and as I diligently peeked around, my playlists, which serve as bookmarks, have increased significantly...

Among them, there were a lot of things on gaming channels. Since I'm a gamer, I ended up picking up things within my range of interest (*ﾉωﾉ)
Maybe it's because online games are strong in Korea, or maybe it's because HYBE is also entering the gaming field, but there were unexpectedly many collaborations lol

So, this time I'd like to feature BTS x Gaming Channels.
However, it was a bit voluminous, so I plan to make it a series. Currently, it's planned as a three-part structure. If all goes well ( ;∀;)

Now, let's go with the first installment. I hope even ARMYs who aren't interested in games will enjoy it. Bangtan is always cute!

Free Fire

The battle royale game 'Free Fire' that was distributed on mobile!
Member-designed skins were distributed, and BTS held a game tournament. In ARMY terms, this is the mobile game episode where Hobi defeated the remaining members and won ( *´艸｀)

The official 'Free Fire' channel has made a nice playlist. Thank you!!

However, since there are many short highlight collections, I will pick out the highlights and introduce them to you 💜

Character Creation Edition

Everyone makes a character and introduces them one by one.

The answer is Yoongi, Tae, and Kook from the top left, and Namjoon, Hobi, Jin, and Jimin from the bottom left.

It's hilarious how Kook is told 'That's just you normally,' and Hobi is a nudist dancing around saying 'The clothes nature gave me are the best!' lol
I also love Bangtan when they have a bit of 'chuunibyou' (middle school syndrome) ( *´艸｀)

You can also name pets like the Palico from Monster Hunter, and when I heard that Jimin named his 'Taehyung' and Kook named his 'Jin,' Namjoon started saying, 'I'll name mine Hongchul-hyung.' Why name them after people lol
By the way, Yoongi named his 'Jimin,' so thank you for the Yoonmin treat!

Skin Design Edition

An episode where they try to come up with ideas for skins (costumes) that can be worn in the game!
This was the part that made me laugh so much. Pink Angel Princess lol

I knew Kook was good at drawing, but the way Jimin drew the chains was like, 'Have you ever traced Weekly Shonen Jump!?' It was great. As expected.
I love Jimin's boyish manga sense (´- `*)

Jin and Namjoon were the harshest critics of others. Why are only Yoongi and Namjoon so harsh lol

Let's Make Emotes Edition

Divided into two teams, an emote creation contest!

Both teams started off by provoking each other, and I was laughing so hard.
Team V (🐹🐨🐥🐻) had its direction set the moment they had Jin-hyung, who is both a god of choreography and a gamer who loves to provoke lol
Team JK (🐱🐿️🐰) had a style of communicating through movement rather than words, and this monkey mountain is so cute too ( ;∀;)

Game Battle Edition

The game started with the MC immediately provoking them, saying, 'I hear Jungkook and V are good,' and 'I heard there are two non-gamers here' (🐱🐿️🐨🐥 reacting lol)!

It's a game where you hide in buildings, pick up items, shoot enemies, and win by being the last one standing.
It turned into a chaotic situation, with J-Hope suddenly starting a boxing match in the warehouse where he landed, and Namjoon, who hadn't picked up a weapon, getting a kill with his bare hands.

Jungkook and V faced off right away!
Jungkook, a favorite to win, was defeated shortly after the start, and it's amazing how Bangtan stayed completely focused on their phones without being bothered by the MC making a huge fuss lol

Next to clash were V and Jin.
It was a shootout where they didn't even hide, just circling and punching each other, and V won the duel. He's racking up big kills!

Is Jimin, with that mysterious innocent smile on his face, actually keeping up with the flow!?
Before I could even wonder, Yoongi entered V's range. He was easily headshot and died.

The next head-to-head was between Jimin and Namjoon. Jimin won the MiniMoni battle.
J-Hope, who was chasing Namjoon, encountered V, and this was also a fierce battle. And in an accident, V was defeated here, meaning all the gamers in Bangtan were eliminated!!

The battle came down to a dancer showdown between J-Hope and Jimin.
Jimin was the first to spot his opponent here. He shot down the fleeing hyung and won brilliantly!! Wow, amazing!!

The MC asked the victorious Jimin, 'Could you do that pose for us!' Ah, so he was the one from the original source lol

Jungkook, frustrated by his quick elimination, begs for "one more time." Even if you aren't a trained ARMY, his puppy-like aura makes you want to immediately say "okay." It's dangerous; the water level is rising too high.
Hobi-hyung exposes him, saying, "Our Jungkook is really a sore loser," and he looks a bit embarrassed, saying, "I've gotten better than I used to be." So cute...!

V-hyung quickly steps in to follow up, but the story he tells is...
"When this kid plays games, he says, 'If I don't get this, I'm quitting!' and he really does pull out. He has a strong will."
So, it is proven that our maknae is a sore loser and lucky, lol.

Alright, let's try one more time! So, a revenge battle!
While Hobi is dancing, Jungkook and Taehyung's faces are super serious lol.
Hobi is the one who shot Taehyung from behind, who had been racking up kills smoothly since the start.

Yoongi looks happy after taking down Namjoon ( *´艸｀)
Jungkook and Jimin encounter each other inside a building and are having a Busan showdown!

While Jin is checking his position and quickly taking down Yoongi, Jimin wins the Busan showdown. Was it a sickle skill? I thought he disappeared near the wall, but he was in the air. What was that?
However, just as he was about to switch weapons, Hobi-hyung sniped him from behind! It came down to a 2Seok showdown.

The one who won the final shootout was, surprisingly, Hobi!!
He danced wildly around the studio with a victory dance too fast for a screenshot, showing his joy. Congratulations!!

Next is a team battle with Jungkook and Taehyung as team leaders!
Despite hurting each other a little during the member selection process, they managed to form teams safely.

Namjoon taunts Hobi-hyung, who took fall damage after jumping from too high, saying, "J-Hope is really something else," and Taehyung goes to aim from behind. Jimin-hyung is casually firing bullets at Jungkook. What is this high-lethality team lol.

Ultimately, while Namjoon was running through the meadow, Jimin shot the last person, Hong-chul sunbaenim, and it ended. Writing it like this makes it hard to deny that I sound crazy, but it's the truth.
Because the development was too quick, a "one more time!" call occurred, and it's a revenge game!

This time, Yoongi is in a "help me, help me" position throughout, which is very adorable. He's being helped by Hobi; SOPE is too precious lol.
Jin, who came to help Jimin, was accidentally taken down by Hobi, but Taehyung immediately ran to revive him, and he was safe. Nice judgment!

Jimin managed to position himself on high ground and took down Hobi from the shade of a tree, but Jungkook is in a pinch being targeted from behind!
Yoongi, who was shot by Namjoon, also rolled in while injured, and it's so funny that the two of them are facing each other on all fours lol.

Taehyung shot Jungkook and then seemed to finish off Yoongi as well. In the chaotic crossfire, the battle became a "Taehyung & Jin vs. Hong-chul sunbaenim" composition. Sunbaenim survives quite a while!

However, inside the building, Jin and sunbaenim ran into each other. While they were both surprised and shouting, as soon as they faced each other again, Jin immediately went into a crawling pose and fired.
He killed him before the opponent could point his muzzle downward, successfully leading the Taehyung team to victory. Good judgment!!

Fortnite

A battle royale game that is hugely popular around the world!
Even ARMYs who aren't interested in games might have seen it in the dance challenge with Jimmy, right?

Fortnite collaborated with BTS, and an emote (dance move) of them dancing to 'Dynamite' was actually implemented in the game!

Usually, it's a game where you're aggressively shooting at each other, but on this day, a party was held in a peaceful virtual space called 'Party Royale.' It's such an interesting time we live in, where you can watch an MV inside the Fortnite world...!!

A super impressive work that recreates the 'Dynamite' MV in Fortnite as much as possible!
It's hilarious how smooth the dancing is despite how tough the characters look lol. The scenes and the combinations with existing emotes are spot on!

The unexpected pitfall of gaming channels

Online games, especially those where you talk and play cooperatively with others, are often primarily in English. I often hear stories of people improving their English conversation skills by playing games.
Perhaps because of that, gaming channels are basically in English, and there is almost no support for other languages. It's such an unexpected blind spot that video globalization has progressed too far lol

Gamers can somehow figure out the mechanics and get by, but I feel like there are many ARMYs out there struggling with the storm of English-only content 💦
