Heading North
Good morning.
I am currently traveling north.
I will be attending the Primary Care Conference
being held in Sapporo for three days starting today.
This afternoon, I will attend a pre-event in Muroran
before heading into Sapporo.
While flying is certainly faster,
the hassle of connecting through Haneda, the waiting time,
and the stairs are all drawbacks.
This time, I chose to travel by land (Shinkansen).
This is almost my first time traveling past Fukushima on the Shinkansen.
And, it's fast!!
While traveling, I am hard at work on tasks (homework) related to my current job.
It's the usual story that things start to get interesting
once I actually start working on them. Bitter smile.
This time, my reliable juniors gave me various ideas,
so I don't feel stuck and am enjoying the process.
It looks like it will be a good experience (^^)v
To make sure I didn't miss my train, I woke up incredibly early (at 4:30 AM)
and have been working on my PC since around 7:00 AM,
so I am starting to get a little sleepy.
I intend to make full use of my travel time this time,
so I brought other homework with me as well.
I will clearly distinguish between ON and OFF time and enjoy learning 🎵
This is my nth time in Hokkaido.
There is almost no sightseeing involved this time,
but I also plan to attend a reunion (drinking party) for a certain study group tomorrow.
I am looking forward to both the learning and the connections (both new and old).
These are my two favorite things, so I'm wagging my tail
and am excited with all my might.
Just before posting, I checked a map app
and was moved again to realize I am very close to the northernmost tip of Honshu.
It's amazing that I can cross the sea from here.
I'm gradually getting happier.
I'm off (^_^)ゞ
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
