Summer Vacation Children's Place Project 2024
Terakoya Kameimo is also entering its 25th year since its founding on March 6th of this year.
I was 28 years old, and I will be turning 53 at the end of this year.
Actually, I was aiming to retire from the top position at 50, but I decided to postpone that to 60. Haha.
Seven and a half years left until I turn 60.
Things I couldn't do even if I wanted to—
things I probably convinced myself I couldn't do—
I intend to start putting these into action properly, little by little, starting this year.
One of them is
Summer Vacation Children's Place Project 2024
As part of this, I am thinking of a way to look after children as a cram school from morning until evening during summer vacation.
For elementary school students,
Elementary School Summer Place
I have named it this, with the desire to provide a place that serves as an alternative to after-school care.
Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:30 (up to 7:45 - 19:00 upon request)
Saturday 9:00 - 12:00 (available from 7:45 upon request)
I want to make this a summer vacation where we spend time with the children, doing homework and playing games together.
During that time, I plan to offer English, math, and reading aloud classes to those who wish.
I am also considering sightseeing at nearby historical buildings.
I would like to start the morning with a walk.
For junior high and high school students,
Junior High and High School Summer Study Room
I would like to provide a place that serves as an alternative to a home study environment, which I call this.
Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00
And, as much as possible, I will provide summer courses and the like within that time.
Establish a daily rhythm.
Rather than just playing all the time,
we want them to have a fulfilling summer vacation in many ways.
And, we want to spend that summer vacation time together with the children.
It's a little scary, but I'm looking forward to it.
We are thinking that we would like to introduce our thoughts little by little this week...
We plan to provide details on the Terakoya Newspaper blog by this weekend.
