Four Goddesses Put on a Stunning Stage at Tokyo Dome! BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] JAPAN Live Report 27 - KPOP Named Youth Vol. 148
BLACK PINK IS THE QUEEN OF KPOP!
The goddesses who reign at the pinnacle of KPOP GIRLS have descended upon Tokyo Dome for the first time in three and a half years!
BLACKPINK held their Japanese performances for the BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] world tour!!
Starting in Bangkok on January 7th and 8th, this tour consists of 18 performances across 11 cities in Asia. The Japan leg included four performances in two cities: Tokyo Dome on April 8th and 9th, and Kyocera Dome Osaka on June 3rd and 4th.
I attended the first day at Tokyo Dome on April 8th!

Now, let's look back on that day.
April 8th - I can finally meet the four goddesses!
I woke up at 5:00 AM as usual, had breakfast, then went to FamilyMart while listening to the BLACKPINK tour setlist, bought an iced latte, and took a walk along the riverbank.
After returning home, I revised articles about EXID, AOA, and others, organized my albums, and relaxed.
After eating tempura soba for lunch, I left for Tokyo Dome with my wife!
It was a bit chilly, and it looked like it might start drizzling at any moment.
Then, about an hour later, we arrived at Tokyo Dome!

When we arrived at the 4:00 PM opening time, the area around Tokyo Dome was incredibly crowded!
However, the opening time was delayed due to venue preparations, and many people couldn't enter because of communication issues with the ANYPASS electronic tickets. We finally managed to open our tickets and entered around 4:40 PM.
Regarding this incident, I would like to share an accurate article by 'Zazaizumi-san' that vividly captures the situation at the time, including the dangers involved.
Once we managed to get in safely, we were in the first row of the balcony seats, and the flow from the entrance to the seats felt spacious and luxurious.
However, since we were on the far right side of the stage, there were times we couldn't see the moment they appeared on the main stage, but the seats were plush, and the center stage was easy to see, so it was great!
In the end, it took a long time for many people to enter, so the show started about 35 minutes late!
Now, let's go to the setlist!

[Impression Report]
BLACKPINK was truly in a league of their own!
I was moved by Rosé's stunning vocal power that echoed throughout the venue!
Lisa's super cool rap and shining smile!
Jennie's flawless performance!
Jisoo's beauty and fan service overflowing with charm!
From the opening 'How You Like That,' the venue's voltage reached its peak instantly. With a barrage of massive hits one after another—'Pretty Savage,' 'Whistle,' 'Don't Know What to Do,' and 'Lovesick Girls'—the venue was so filled with cheers that I could feel the ground shaking. My wife and I were both incredibly excited during those two fleeting hours, burning the dazzling images of the four of them into our memories.
The gap between their powerful performances and the cuteness of them trying their best to speak Japanese during the MC was delightful, and the intensity of the stage for 'Kill This Love,' my personal favorite, was so moving it made my heart tremble!
The four solo stages were also superb. I enjoyed Jennie's charisma that captivated the venue the moment she appeared, the brilliance of Rosé's emotionally rich singing voice, and Lisa's sun-like radiant smile. In particular, Jisoo, who sang her newly released song 'FLOWER,' was incredibly beautiful! As it was her first stage performance since her solo debut, the members celebrated her, and the entire venue was filled with a celebratory mood!
And after closing the main set with the massive hits'DDU-DU DDU-DU' and 'Forever Young,' the encore call was a massive sing-along of 'STAY'! During the encore, there was a surprise performance where they circled the venue on carts. They were overflowing with joy, smiling and interacting with BLINKs (the BLACKPINK fandom) up close, making it the best moment filled with deafening cheers and pure euphoria.

The star quality of each individual shone through, truly giving them the air of four heaven-sent goddesses.
I was truly happy to experience with my whole body the true essence of BLACKPINK, who have swept the world into a vortex of enthusiasm.
I definitely want to go see their stage again!
With their contract expiration period approaching this summer, I am curious about BLACKPINK's future, but I truly hope they continue to captivate us on stage as a group of four!
Hoping for their continued success around the world...
Fighting!
