The Immortal Spectacle Film 'Titanic': An Extreme Journey Imagining Yourself in That Situation.

The immortal spectacle film, Titanic.
For some reason, I watched it with my family at the end of the year and ended up crying my eyes out again. I want to see it once more in 3D IMAX or 4DX.
Now, once again, to that extraordinary, extreme journey.

Right now, I am on a commuter train that is empty for the year-end holidays. I have to work today and tomorrow, but for a brain that refuses to function in the year-end mood, there is nothing better than thinking about something extraordinary.

If I were there, what would I do?

A catastrophe where 1,517 out of 2,237 passengers died.

Taking the class society into account, where you were located likely determined whether you lived or died.

In extreme situations, human nature is laid bare.

Above all, there were men who prioritized women and children to get them onto lifeboats,

but there were also people like the fiancé, Billy Zane, and it seems some even dressed as women to get on the boats.

Amidst all that, the scene with the musicians really touches my heart. Even while thinking, 'Hurry up and escape!'

By the way, there was actually only one Japanese passenger.

He was the first to notice the ship's abnormality, went from the second-class cabin to the deck, and boarded a lifeboat after hearing the call, 'There is room for two more.'

He survived and had a child, who, believe it or not, was the father of the musician Haruomi Hosono.

In other words, he was the only Japanese passenger, and the survivor was Haruomi Hosono's grandfather.

It is a mysterious anecdote that there is a connection to the birth of the legendary band YMO.

The film 'Titanic' spends its 3 hours and 14 minutes showing various human dramas, wrapped in beautiful interiors, furnishings, and costumes that reach every corner of the luxury liner in the first half.

Especially Kathy Bates from 'Misery,' who played Molly Brown, she's great too. My 'Misery' trauma was eased by this film, haha.

From the excitement of setting off on the vast ocean with DiCaprio, through the mid-section romance between the two from different social classes (I love the scene where they dance in the third-class cabin),

it lets you experience the climactic, raging spectacle.

Packed with the true thrill of cinema, I really think this is a masterpiece of entertainment.

And at the moment both of them finally enter the water... I always find myself holding my breath.

And, as inappropriate as it may be, I suddenly wonder. The slender DiCaprio and the robust Kate Winslet. Which one would be more likely to survive...

Man, this movie is packed with human drama, youth, romance, adventure, emotion, tragedy, and spectacle all condensed into one.

James Cameron, enough with the Avatar sequels; I want you to create a profound, grand spectacle like Titanic again.

I want to see a realistic and emotional spectacle created with all of Cameron's heart once more.

Ah, I've arrived at work, so it's time to return from the extraordinary to the ordinary...

But, just being alive is something to be grateful for!
