Heta-Kawa Reindeer vs. Yokan's 'Watching-Only Horse Racing' Prediction Showdown 7th Season Opener - Sprinters Stakes -
Well then, let's get started.
'Watching-Only Horse Racing / G1 Series Prediction Showdown' has entered its 7th season 🏇
This is Yokan, the 'Former Prediction King' 😭
My opponent is, of course, the 'New Prediction King', Heta-Kawa Reindeer.

The rules are the same as last season, as follows:
1. Each person predicts 1st to 3rd place using ◎◯▲△✕, and the one with the most points is the winner.
2. The point distribution is,
1st place: ◎10 pts, ◯8 pts, ▲6 pts, △4 pts, ✕3 pts; 2nd place: ◎8 pts, ◯6 pts, ▲4 pts, △3 pts, ✕2 pts;
3rd place: ◎5 pts, ◯4 pts, ▲3 pts, △2 pts, ✕1 pt
as follows.
3. The target races are the 7 races: Sprinters Stakes, Shuka Sho, Kikuka Sho, Tenno Sho (Autumn), Queen Elizabeth II Cup, Mile Championship, and Japan Cup. A winner is decided each time, and the one with more wins is the overall winner. In the unlikely event of a tie at the end of all races, the person with the higher total points across all 7 races will be the 'Prediction King'.
Now, let's move on to the predictions 🎵

【Heta-Kawa Reindeer Prediction】
◎6 Namura Clair
○7 Satono Reve
▲11 Toshin Macau
△13 June Blair
✕15 Lugal
【Commentary】
Long time no see. It's Heta-Kawa Reindeer 💕
Clair-chan has been putting up good fights in short-distance G1s for a long time, so I'm making her my top pick because I want her to be rewarded this time.
My second pick is Satono Reve, ridden by the very skilled jockey Moreira.
Added to that is Toshin Macau, ridden by Takeshi-jockey who has good chemistry with the horse.
June Blair, ridden by Take-san, who has Nakayama aptitude and the momentum of a 4-year-old.
Finally, I'm covering last year's winner, Lugal, who is reassuring with the short-distance expert Kawada-jockey on board.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of prediction Yokan-kun makes 🎵
【Yokan Prediction】
◎7 Satono Reve
○1 Puro Magic
▲4 Mamacocha
△6 Namura Clair
✕5 Kanchenjunga
【Commentary】
Hello. It's Yokan.
This season, there are weeks without G1 races, so the predictions will be sporadic, making maintaining motivation an important factor.
As for the predictions, it was a question of how close the 'new power' 4-year-olds could get to the 'current power' 6-year-olds, but the strong 4-year-olds ended up in the outer枠.
I had high hopes, but I'm only keeping Puro Magic, who drew the 1st gate, among the 4-year-olds, and based my prediction on the 'current power' group.
With this gate, I don't think Satono Reve will lose.
Other than that, I've covered the two 6-year-old mares with sufficient track records, and Kanchenjunga, whose recent improvement is scary.
Anyway, 'inner gate' is the key❗

The wounds of losing the crown in a 'shocking, disastrous defeat' have finally healed, and I enter the 7th season as a challenger.
It's a bit awkward to face the 'fluffy' champion, but mercy has no place in a competition. I intend to win this high-level battle against Reindeer-kun and return to the throne 💪
Now, the mud-slinging battle of the century begins again 🐴
I will add the results later.

[Update]
The results are in.
Heta-kawa Reindeer: 8 points. I, Yokan: 2 points.
And so, the first match was a victory for Reindeer-kun 😭
My losing streak continues, but fortunately there is a three-week break, so I hope to somehow turn things around.
In the next race, the Shuka Sho, I will get my first win. I absolutely will not lose 💪
