To start with the conclusion,
please include "emotion" in your articles.
Emotion refers to the feelings your heart experiences, such as anger or joy.
Please try including your inner voice in your articles.
If you look closely at articles that are widely read, most of them discuss the same genre of content using slightly different words.
However, for some reason, there is a difference in whether they are read or not.
Don't you think that's a bit mysterious?
I would like you to actually experience the difference.
For example, please compare these texts written about how to write articles that get read.
A: To write articles that get read, include words filled with emotion.
Writing that is filled with your feelings will strike a chord with readers.
B: Intentionally include your own feelings put into words within the article.
After all, isn't that easier to read?
Add a phrase like "Let's give it a try!" to give your readers a push.
Let me give you another example.
C: For paid articles to sell, building a relationship of trust with readers is important.
Provide useful information to readers in your free articles on a daily basis.
D: It's really exciting when your paid articles sell, isn't it?
But, if you suddenly start writing only paid articles, they won't sell. Haven't you had that experience?
What's important is for readers to think, "Oh, what this person is saying is good," through your free articles.
So, please deliver content that makes your readers happy in your free articles.
These are slightly extreme examples, but
when you compare A with B, and C with D,
in both cases, the latter—B and D—stay in your mind more, don't they?
That is because in B, my feeling of "easier to read" is stated directly,
and in D, the two points of "Haven't you had that experience?" and "Oh, what this person is saying is good" are,
each included in the text as emotions.
Of course, since you are the one writing the text, you should choose whichever style you prefer.
How you write is also up to you.
However, keeping in mind to "infuse emotion into your writing" will enrich the variety of your articles.
Articles packed with know-how, like explanatory texts, are educational, but
please try creating articles that mix in some emotion from time to time!
Just by doing that, the distance between you and your readers will shrink significantly after all.
That said, no matter how good a piece of writing you create with emotion,
it is meaningless if it is not read by readers.
