Hokorobi Beef Tongue Stew #Maisho

"I've wanted to come to this restaurant for a long time. I'm glad I heard you like beef tongue stew, Mr. Saito."

Kato said with a smile.

"Hokorobi Beef Tongue Stew, was it? Oh, I've been wanting to try it. I've been looking forward to this."

Kato had chosen the 'Hokorobi Beef Tongue Stew' restaurant for the business dinner. He had heard from reviews that it was so delicious it would make your cheeks fall off.

Just then, someone who had finished their meal came out from inside. They seemed to be a group of four, and they were all wearing masks.

"Is COVID still going around?" Kato thought, but he didn't pay it any mind and entered the restaurant.

The inside of the restaurant was dimly lit, with lamps placed at each table, creating a nice atmosphere. When they were shown to their seats by a waiter, Kato immediately ordered, "Two orders of Hokorobi Beef Tongue Stew."

"It takes some time to stew it until it's tender, is that alright?"

the waiter asked, and

"Of course, that's fine."

Kato had intended to bring up the business proposal to Saito in the meantime.

About 30 minutes later,

"Thank you for waiting. Here is the Hokorobi Beef Tongue Stew."

The stew that was brought out was piping hot and tasted excellent. The tongue was so tender it fell apart with chopsticks, and it was delicious.

"Wow, it was worth the wait. This is delicious."

Saito was very satisfied. Kato felt the same.

"Mr. Saito, it's making your cheeks beam!" As he said this, Saito's cheeks fell off.

"Mr. Kato, your cheeks have fallen off. What is going on?"

The two of them looked at each other's faces in shock. Their cheeks had fallen off completely 😱,

and when they called the waiter to ask what was happening,

"The fraying tongue stew is so delicious it will make your cheeks fall off.
That is why we provide masks when you leave. Your cheeks will be back to normal by tomorrow, so there is no need to worry."

That was what they were told.

Saito, having finished his meal, put on a mask to hide the parts that had slipped off.

Kato did the same.

"This is my first time experiencing something like this.

Kato paid the bill, and the two of them left the restaurant with the fallen parts securely hidden inside their masks.
