I want to host a meeting where 0-year-olds and 100-year-olds meet and talk, inspired by Taizo Son's book 'The Book of Adventure'!

Nice to meet you! My name is Tetsuya Ezawa, I was born in 2007 and am currently 17 years old!
While working as an organizer for 'Fridays For Future Yokohama,' a global movement raising voices about environmental issues primarily in Kanagawa Prefecture, I am on an adventure to find 'solutions to environmental problems' outside of school.
I want to hold a 'Book of Adventure' reading circle!
How I came across it
Living a life where I learn more from actual field experience than from books or school, I learned about 'The Book of Adventure' from the Instagram of an activist I respect. When I became curious and read it, my heart was shaken by the shocking content. I couldn't stop turning the pages.
Children are not in the discussion
Wanting to delve deeper, I searched on YouTube and in articles and found a lot of content discussing 'The Book of Adventure.' Conversations with famous people, guest appearances—they were all very interesting. However, the people appearing were all business people, entrepreneurs, so-called 'capable adults.' Children were not part of the discussion.
I want to talk with diverse people!
I wanted to talk to the business people who read this book, as well as the parent generation and students of my own generation. Everyone has different experiences and different ways of thinking. I thought that if I could talk to people from many different positions with this book as a starting point, I would surely gain many discoveries and hints for creating the future.
That is what led to the holding of this reading circle.

To begin with, what is 'The Book of Adventure: Unlearning in the AI Era'?
As a hot book right now, you might see it in various places, right?
It is a very interesting book, full of suffering and inspiration, starting with the simple question, 'Why do I have to go to school?'
'The Book of Adventure: Unlearning in the AI Era' (by Taizo Son). Immediately after its release, it became a topic not only in the business world but also in the educational world, becoming a 90,000-copy bestseller. 80 questions that entrepreneur Taizo Son had after encountering cutting-edge AI (artificial intelligence). It is a book where, before you know it, your doubts clear up and a new you and a new world begin.
It's painful to read. It's not 'The Book of Adventure,' it's 'The Forbidden Book.' If I were an emperor in ancient China, I would have burned the book along with the author.
3 benefits of participating
I have thought of three main benefits.
Benefit 1. You can talk across generations
School, workplace, family. These are the people you usually interact with, right? I am planning to make this reading circle a place to meet people from many more generations!
I have friends who are interested in this, a 'first-year junior high student' and a 'fourth-year university student.' They even told me they would participate in this reading circle! They are both interesting people, so please talk to them if you want to join!!!
Benefit 2. You can deepen your awareness through output & input
Whether at school or with books, learning is centered on 'input.' Being taught is of course important, but 'output' is important for remembering and using what you learn. In this reading circle, we will divide into groups of 3 or 4 and proceed in a conversation format. If you talk using not only what you thought and learned but also your experiences, you will definitely gain insights!
3. An opportunity to think about the possibilities of learning in the AI era
In a rapidly changing society, the reality is that schools have hardly changed. What kind of learning will we create from now on? I think ideas and solutions will emerge by talking with people from various positions!
\Recruiting participants!/
So, it's been a long post, but
I am looking for friends to talk with through 'The Book of Adventure' together

To participate, please first answer this form!
As soon as I confirm, I will invite you to the LINE Open Chat! I am thinking of communicating there.
Holding a reading circle online (Zoom)
An 'online reading circle' might not be very familiar, but when you try it,
it's super interesting!
I've held it a few times, and they were all very well received.
I will pack it with fun ideas again!
・Small groups
・Time to get to know people you're meeting for the first time
・After the event, with snacks in hand, PR time, after-school time, etc.

My Story
"I've been curious about 'The Book of Adventure'."
I started talking about this book to my peers and friends.
Then, the number of friends who wanted to discuss it steadily increased.
Among them, a first-year junior high school environmental activist friend of mine also read it,
"This is incredible!!!" they said, full of curiosity. Even just talking a little bit, it felt like we could discuss it for hours.
AI Era x Multi-generational Diversity
As the world begins to change drastically due to AI,
and cracks are appearing in the education sector,
I am bubbling with hope that if we can use 'The Book of Adventure' as a starting point to have multi-generational and diverse discussions,
something might change.
Let's go on an adventure
Since I started my own adventure,
I have met more practitioners and explorers who share the same "interests" and "sense of issues." They are of various ages and backgrounds, including elder-like figures with rich life experience, people from my parents' generation, company presidents, and people so cool I can't believe they are my age. Respecting each other and discussing what we have explored is so much fun and a great learning experience! I want many other people to feel the joy of this adventure as well.
I look forward to talking with everyone who has read this far at the book club!
From various places, ages, and backgrounds,
let's talk about the future of the world together!

(Please note that this event is not being held with the permission of the author, Taizo Son 🙇)
