Taking on a challenge with the new Ska Para song

It's out! It's out! The new Ska Para song, "Chiriyuku Hana no Sei de" (Because of the Scattering Flowers).

The vocalist this time is Masaki Suda. I thought they had collaborated fairly recently, and sure enough, it was the end of 2023. That time it was the Rurouni Kenshin song, "Rurou no Katashiro".

I checked the MV right away... but this time I was puzzled. The rushing momentum is held back, and it's different from the dandyism I feel in their top recommendation "Pride Of Lions" or the more recent "Kaze ni Soyogu Blues". In terms of genre, I thought it might be close to "Utsukushiku Moeru Mori," which even the vivid butterfly was confused by...? But I don't know, that one is more straightforward and simple.

In the midst of this, Yanaka-san's X post, who wrote the lyrics, caught my eye.

The theme is that falling in love is like having a lucid dream...!!

Trouble is, I've never had a lucid dream. I have no choice but to try and remember falling in love. Can I include my love for Ska Para? When GAMO-san was pointing this way at the live show and the members were close, I felt like I was in a dream. I see, there is no difference between a dream-like reality and a lucid dream. Probably.

And I also look back on my love for women. Sometimes vividly, sometimes vaguely, fragmented scenes come back to me without a clear chronological order. I see, this might be a dream. A love that went well is convenient and truly a lucid dream. Even though I've never had one.

However, the problem here is that the live shows have a stronger impact than the memories of love. Let's assume it's safe because the live shows were more recent. In terms of impact, heartbreak was stronger, so maybe that was actually a dream too.

Let's return to "Chiriyuku Hana no Sei de".

Falling in love is having a lucid dream. Now that I know this, a sense of sadness, sorrow, and the unreliability of reality not being reality begins to emerge.

It's for adults. It's a love song for adults who have come to understand and appreciate complexity. I was immature for not being able to grasp this right away. I intend to contribute to the view count by repeating it about 3,000 times, and at the same time, I want to get a little closer to the dandyism of Ska Para. Let me post it one more time.

While looking at my timeline, I saw a word I remembered seeing. I ignored it at the time, but I saw it several more times after that. It seems it wasn't just one or two people. Many people seem to be writing it in their titles. Michael-san is popular, isn't he.

I'm slow on the uptake, but I finally realized it around this point. This must be some kind of project. I ignored it, but a noter I often see is also writing about it. I see, so it's a baton relay project.

I thought I didn't have any particular connection to it, so I ignored it, but I was finally caught up to. Someone actually passed the baton to me.

There are two types of people in the world. Those who are easy to pass a baton to, and those who are not. There are two types of the latter as well, but setting that aside, I am clearly the latter, as I spend my days scattering about things that are hard to understand and don't really go out to leave comments, so what on earth is going on? Who is the culprit?

It was this person. That makes sense. I hang out with them outside of note as well. Even if you asked me, it was obvious it would end up being Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, but you saw right through that, didn't you? That being said, I was just about to write about the new Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra song, so it worked out perfectly.

And it was only after receiving the baton that I realized. It's not Michael. It's Mieharu. It was Mieharu-san. It seems Michael-san was just a lucid dream.

By the way, I have woken up from that dream, but there were others who titled their articles 'Michael.' Chainner-san, Mieharu-san, I am reporting that there are still people wandering in the dream. Well then, everyone, farewell.

…Oh no, there was still more. This was a project where you pass the baton.

I have never been an anchor before, and I have always had a bit of a longing to run wearing that sash, so I would like to take this opportunity to be the anchor.

It's not that I don't have many acquaintances to pass it to. It's just that many people have already written about it, or have reasons for hesitating to pass it on, or are busy, or I don't want to insert a project into their unique worlds. Yes, I am definitely not a loner.
