Kindle Publication: The 14-Year-Old Future Design Project
I have recently published a book on Kindle.
I wrote this by depicting these girls as they seriously think about what they want to do, starting at the age of fourteen, and move forward.
My Future Blueprint
In the spring of their third year of junior high school, six girls, each carrying deep worries, meet after being given an assignment by their homeroom teacher to "express your future self." There is Rei, a perfectionist aspiring to be a designer; Akane, who acts tough but secretly loves cute things; Shiori, who prioritizes planning; Rin, who suffers under the pressure of being an honor student; Midori, who cannot find a dream; and Yume, a popular VTuber who cannot talk to people in real life.
Initiated by Midori, they plan a fashion show called the "14-Year-Old Future Design Project." Through the preparation process, they learn about each other's weaknesses and face themselves. Despite hitting the wall of a budget shortage, they raise funds through a handmade bazaar, and by speaking honestly even when they clash, they build a deeper relationship of trust.
On the day of the school festival, the six of them walk the runway and present their "future blueprints" in their own words. It is okay not to be perfect, and it is okay to show your weaknesses—they convey their determination to accept their current selves and take a step forward.
Ten years later, when they reunite, they have each achieved their dreams in their own way. Even if the form has changed, the essence of "taking a step toward the person you want to be," which they envisioned at fourteen, still lives on in their hearts today.
