[Post-Reading Review] An Exquisite Interview #YuriSawaki
My first impression after finishing it was that it was a "gentle fantasy novel."
However, I smiled to myself when I confirmed that it was entered in the "Work-Life Novel Category." This is the novel in question.
"I see, while there are fantasy elements, the theme is the pious wish of 'I pray for the other person's happiness,' born from the work of an interviewer and writer. Is this a 'novel' that puts that into words?"
I have revised my shallow thinking.
This is my own interpretation, but I basically believe that anyone who is "being interviewed" is, to varying degrees, a "person bathed in light."
Interviewing is the technique used to further embody that radiance and convey it to a wider audience, reconstructing the light to suit the medium and creating a new brilliance.
It is a wonderful profession.
On the other hand, though it is a cliché, isn't it inevitable that "where there is light, there is shadow"?
Perhaps it cannot be an "exquisite interview" unless one can look not only at the dazzling light but also cast their gaze toward the "shadows," standing by both the light and the shadow.
This work features a craftsman who embraces the "shadows" of those who are troubled.
It is the story of the protagonist who takes on the job of interviewing that craftsman, and I feel it is a story of rebirth born from the resonance between the craftsman and the protagonist.
A gentle story where people can pray for each other's happiness.
Soft light like the sun after the rain, a pleasant breeze.
That was the feeling I had after reading this story.
I read a wonderful story today, and I think I will buy some Japanese sweets on my way home.
I think you will understand the reason if you read this work.
While praying for the happiness of the author and everyone reading this article, I will slowly enjoy the scent of Japanese sweets.

I am planning the final proofreading work for today and tomorrow. I am disappointed to have found "multiple typos" this morning 😞.
