[Weekly Short-Short Note] 'Would you like to write a short-short?' Theme Announcement! 2/11

This is an article for a project that invites casual short-short submissions every week. If you are new here, I would be happy if you could read this first.

So, this is a project where we use the [Short-Short Note] card game to decide on a theme and write short-shorts as volunteers. Thank you all for your many submissions! Did you get a whiff of youth? Was it bittersweet? Was it poignant? I think there were many kinds of youth!

Taraha Selection

Now, here is this week's Taraha Selection, where I, Tarahakani (Nika Tahara), arbitrarily introduce works from the theme two weeks ago.

The theme was [The East Building with Horns], with the constraint [Hook them with the first line]!

This week, I chose based only on the first line (a bit more than usual!)

First up is kaze-san!

That?! That's coming out?! I was surprised!! How will the East Building appear after this?!

Next is Suzumura-san!

They're selling them! I'd go buy one! A first line that makes you look forward to it! What on earth are the horns lined up for...!

Next is Ganmo-san!

Common sense has changed! I want to know too!

Next is Asa-san!

You were all curious too, right? Let's say the same thing on the count of three. One, two, 'Why nationwide?!'

Finally, Souju-san!

The world that can be seen from just one line is nothing short of magnificent. I'm curious about what happens next!

And what is the theme for this week!

As the extremist Tarahakani clan who supports Masatomo Tamaru, we will continue to ride the wave of Mr. Tamaru's platform with all our might!

We will decide the theme using this random word function!

And!

Since the Weekly Short-Short Note is billed as a place for training, this week we will continue with,

“Please write a short-short that is [Theme] and ○○!”

I will make that proposal. With that said, here is this week's theme!

A [Sci-Fi style] short-short with the theme of [Digital Valentine]

There is no secret theme this week either! Please dedicate the time you would have spent on a secret theme to putting your heart and soul into making it science fiction!

・I would be happy if you could comment on other people's work! (This is a rip-off of the Shirokuma Literature Club project)

Also, this project basically adopts the Masatomo Tamaru method. Please try to think of a [Sci-Fi style] short-short based on the theme "Digital Valentine," rather than a work that just contains the two words "digital" and "valentine"! Well then, I look forward to your work again this week!

This week's Sotto-Sotto (Quietly) Note

This is sudden, but I, Taraha, am cursing Valentine's Day. I won't go into why, as it would take about 100,000 characters, but I am cursing it severely. Because of that, I hesitated to make it a theme, but it wouldn't be right for your training to stall because of my personal feelings! So, this week's theme is Valentine's Day.
I, Taraha, have a chocolate allergy, but perhaps because I was cursing Valentine's Day, I have been cursed by Valentine's Day in return. Even though I love chocolate.

You all should stop cursing things! As they say, "He who digs a grave for others falls into it himself!"
Wait? The kanji for "curse" (呪) has two holes in it. I just learned that for the first time. My knowledge is full of holes.

Wait? The kanji for "knowledge" (知識) has three holes... (I'm being persistent)
