[Cooking] | Summer Bounty ✶ Sweet and Savory Ratatouille with Freshly Picked Summer Vegetables
Using the summer vegetables we harvested in abundance with the family
to make ratatouille ♡

The vegetables used were
2 tomatoes
1 zucchini
1 onion
8 okra?
2 (zebra) eggplants
1 bell pepper
2 cloves of garlic
It's packed with ingredients!
Since the vegetables are all fresh and delicious,
the only seasonings are salt (rock salt) and a little consommé.
1. Cut tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, crush and coarsely chop the garlic, and cut the other vegetables into uniform sizes.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add half the garlic, and once it starts to cook, sauté the tomatoes while crushing them, then sprinkle with salt.
3. Once the tomatoes are mostly crushed and simmering, transfer to a pot.
4. Lightly wipe the frying pan, add olive oil and the remaining garlic, and once it starts to cook, add all the other vegetables, sprinkle with salt, and sauté.
5. When the vegetables are 70-80% cooked, add them to the pot from step 3, combine with the tomatoes, and heat.
6. Finally, adjust the flavor with consommé and it's done ◎
"It's delicious!"
"I could eat this with rice forever ♪"
"Look, I ate the yellow bell pepper!"
"Did you put in both angular and round okra?"
Hearing their feedback and
feeling the children's growth
makes for a happy dining table ◎
The pot I used is astaub.
I received it as a wedding gift and have been using it for about 10 years, but it hasn't been damaged at all; it's a lifelong item.
It cooks evenly and quickly, and concentrates the flavors.
It's also perfect for waterless cooking!
Another point I love is that it looks cute even when served directly on the table.
Please take a look if you'd like.
The one we use at home is 22cm, but since it was sold out, I'm posting the link for the 24cm one 🙏
