Self-introduction. I'm running through my slightly bumpy daily life together with my family!
Hello, thank you for visiting my blog.
Nice to meet you. I'm running through my slightly bumpy daily life together with my family!
I am a mom in my late thirties who gave birth to my first son in 2022. It was a late-age pregnancy.
In 2021, I got pregnant at 35. I spent my time from the 26th week feeling anxious due to threatened premature labor, and gave birth at 38 weeks via induced labor.
It was such a hectic start, but my son, who is the treasure of our family, is now 3 years old.
Even though he has received an ASD diagnosis (along with ADHD and DCD traits), he is a beloved presence who shows me many "I did it!" moments every day.
◆ My parents' family
Actually, my husband, myself, and both of our parents have been experiencing more situations where we think, "Huh? Could there be some developmental unevenness here?"
My father has strong ASD tendencies, and after being hospitalized for depression, he has required support since 2024.
My mother was also diagnosed with dementia shortly after that and now requires nursing care.
My sister has supported us all along, and I have nothing but gratitude for her.
◆ Family living together
I live in my husband's family home, so I also live with my parents-in-law.
My father-in-law is likely ASD, and my mother-in-law is a very kind person who often looks after my son. However, sometimes she gets into serious arguments with a 3-year-old... that's just another scene from our daily life (lol).
My husband is good at playing with children and is involved in childcare, but he is still in the process of coming to terms with the disability, and he keeps a little distance from developmental support.
◆ About work
As for work, I've done various things like sales, office work, being a registered dietitian, data entry, and part-time jobs... but in terms of a career, I'm "wandering."
I'm currently working in a position similar to a contract employee, but I'm overwhelmed every day (lol).
However, I believe that all my experiences so far are helping me in who I am today and in raising my children!
◆Things I want to do in the future
Also, I love animals, and when I was single, I used to draw animal illustrations.
Lately, I've completely run out of time to draw, but I sometimes think I'd like to start again someday.
I'd like to upload the illustrations I've drawn so far too!
I think I'll start by using them as thank-you images for likes and such.
◆Through note
I recently realized that when I introduce myself, I find myself talking only about "my child's therapy" instead of "myself."
That's just how much my daily life revolves around my children.
However, I started note because I thought that by writing about my children, I might be able to re-examine myself little by little.
Here, I intend to record my family, therapy, and the fluctuations and discoveries of my own feelings just as they are.
Ours is a slightly bumpy family, but I will write positively about our various days, laughing and crying.
I look forward to getting to know you all!
Thank you for reading.🙂↕️
*By the way, "Kuma no Hitomi"
Kuma is not my surname🐻
I included the meaning of "Kuma" (bear) from my son's favorite bear-shaped hug futon and "Hitomi" (through the eyes of)
as in "seeing through the eyes of the bear." Added on 2025.9.23
