Mother-Daughter Italy Trip Part 3🇮🇹 Outlet Day🛍 & Airbnb Pitfalls
Today is shopping day✨
We took a break from sightseeing and went to the 📍The Mall outletin the suburbs of Florence with my mom🚌💨
☕Had an elegant morning on the hotel terrace

The breakfast at the 🏨 we stayed at was buffet style. Plus, we could eat on the terrace, giving us a bit of a resort vibe from the morning🌿

Prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, croissants... everything was so delicious that I actually went back for three rounds, lol
I love hotels that get me excited for breakfast!💗💗
🚌Bus to "The Mall" outlet

In the morning, we caught the 9:30 AM bus toThe Mall outlet🛍️
On weekdays, if you go to the bus terminal early, you can just show up on the day! I was able to buy tickets directly from the driver (card payment is okay💳). It's best to buy a round-trip ticket for €15.00~
If you book online, you're guaranteed a seat! If you know your schedule, you can do this too!
👉Tickets available from the official website
However... since tourists from all over the world gather for the bus, we were surrounded by people with multinational scents and loud conversations, so we quietly moved to empty seats halfway through😂
If you're worried, it's safer to have motion sickness medicine!
👜"The Mall" is a high-brand heaven
The outlet is lined with popular high brands like Prada, Moncler, Gucci, and Bottega✨ They also have Margiela and Jil Sander, which are popular with people in their 30s!
My excitement was through the roof! I carefully examined various items, aiming for Prada and Moncler!
But with prices rising these days... it wasn't as cheap as I'd heard...😭
Also, I didn't see many trendy items. I think it's all about timing.

I bought the sunglasses I wanted and a down jacket from Moncler, then left!
My mom only bought Prada sunglasses, and for the rest of the time, she enjoyed relaxing at a cafe in the outlet restaurant🕶️☕
⚠️I regretted this, so be careful
I was in a rush when leaving the country and forgot thetax refund procedure, so everyone, please don't forget it!!😭 It seemed a bit troublesome, but it looks like you can manage if you at least get the stamp (vague). Please look it up in advance😭
🍖T-bone steak at a recommended restaurant for dinner!

For dinner, we went to "Trattoria Zà Zà" which we had been looking forward to since the day before✨
It's a very popular restaurant, soreservations are a must! It was fully booked even on the day⚠️
At my mom's request, even though there were only two of us... we ended up ordering the famous T-bone steak (1kg!)🍖 lol
It looks great for photos, but the size was so ridiculous I laughed😂
The meat was thick and savory, and it was honestly so delicious! We also ordered pasta, and that was delicious too~~ I think everything there is good!

The interior is also cute and lovely, so I especially recommend it for a girls' trip!
🛌Hotel trouble occurred!? Airbnb pitfalls...
I love staying in various hotels, and actually, for this day, I had booked only the second night via Airbnb but... an unexpected login issue occurred ⚠️
I didn't know that Facebook integration had ended, so I couldn't log in...!
Moreover, it was night locally and late at night in Japan, so the chat wasn't connecting, and I was completely stuck 😭
Since I was using Airbnb abroad, I couldn't do anything if I couldn't log in... This was a complete lapse in judgment...
I inquired after returning home, but a refund was not possible... I had to just swallow the loss of the accommodation fee... 💸
This is a bit of a traumatic case... I think I'll take a break from Airbnb.
💨 Emergency last-minute booking!
I did a super-fast hotel search on the spot 🔍💥
A nearby "🏨Hotel Craft" popped up, and I was able to check in safely 😭✨

The breakfast here was also amazing... I felt a bit saved 🥐☕️
They even had my favorite, pancakes from a pancake machine, and they made omelets for me, so I really enjoyed it. I checked out with a full stomach!

🙆♀️ Airbnb Trouble Countermeasure Tips (From an Experienced User)
I've summarized what I 'should have done' that I learned from this trouble👇
✅ Check your Airbnb account login method in advance!
→ Be especially careful if you only use Facebook integration⚠️
Switch to logging in with your email address or phone number!
✅ Log in once before checking in locally!
→ Log in once and message the accommodation while you have a stable connection in Japan.
If you know it, make a detailed note of the accommodation's address too!
✅ Check the chat support operating hours in advance!
→ Avoid the hell of 'no one is here...' due to the time difference with Japan!
It's a small thing, but this alone makes a huge difference in peace of mind...💡 To avoid panicking while traveling, a little preparation beforehand is important◎
I'm the one who didn't do this!!
Next time is Florence Museum Tour Day 🎨
I'll be sharing more of our mother-daughter adventures (?), so please look forward to the next one 🕊️
