The 'Dragon Quest Theory of Life' hits too close to home...
Hello, this is Tangu.
I've been having a lot of fun doing business lately.
However, there are times when I hit a wall.
'Am I okay just staying like this?'
and other negative emotions have started to surface.
Well, that's because there are things I could be doing but I'm not doing them...
Anyway, there is content I always go to check when I feel that way.
That is the 'Dragon Quest Theory of Life' mentioned in the title.
The Dragon Quest Theory of Life is here↓
・When you finish playing Dragon Quest, you raise your level, learn English words instead of spells, earn gold, and go to another continent, right? That's normal.
・Is it really okay to never leave the town you've lived in since you were level 1?
・The reason you can't leave that town is usually not because of work or family issues, but because your own level is too low.
・When you were a child, you had a heart that got excited about Dragon Quest, but when it comes to your own life, I can't believe you'd say things like 'I can't do it' or 'I don't want to do it'.
・The reason you're living a comfortable life is because you're only defeating slimes.
・Those who don't fight can't land a critical hit.
・If you're the type who can't set out on a journey unless someone invites you, you'll be level 1 at Patty's Party Planning Place forever.
・When you're asked to do a job, think of it as being asked to run an errand by the King of the castle. The results of that project will determine your next adventure.
・Even if you are working on an errand for the King today, don't forget the reality that you are fighting to eventually become strong enough to defeat a massive enemy.
・If you defeat an evil monster and save a town, you might become a hero and be pampered. However, leave that town.
・Precisely because your level is low, you must invest your money in strong weapons to earn higher experience points. It doesn't matter if it's a certification or anything else. Invest in your own weapons.
・Strong people get called at Patty's Party Planning Place, keep fighting, keep getting stronger, change jobs while mastering skills, and keep fighting through hardships. Weak people don't get called, so they stay weak, watching the battles of their friends who are getting stronger and stronger, and end it with 'Wow, that's amazing'.
・When you reach level 20, you change jobs, right? Can you become a Magic Knight if you're afraid of dropping back to level 1?
・Even if you get defeated by a strong enemy, you just start over from the church. You lose money, but your experience remains.
・No matter how low their HP is, if a Mage can use powerful magic, they can join a great team. To join the strongest team, it's better to focus on your strengths.
・The people who drink at Patty's Party Planning Place and criticize those who are out fighting instead of joining the adventure contribute nothing to defeating the Demon King, so in the story, it makes no difference whether they are there or not.
・A bad guy came along and created a world ruled by evil. But so what if the environment is bad? What else can you do besides steadily raising your level and getting stronger while you fight?
・Don't forget the excitement you felt as a child. Let's get stronger. Let's set out on a journey. Let's go on an adventure. Fight, lose, start over, and fight again. Everyone, every adventurer starts at level 1. Don't complain. What you learn will become your weapon to make you stronger and your armor to protect you. Guaranteed.
It's a theory of life written using the story of Dragon Quest as a metaphor.
I go to check this periodically.
I go check it even when I'm not feeling down.
When I look at the Dragon Quest Theory of Life, I strangely feel motivated, and it brings me back to my senses even when I'm about to become complacent.
So, I've been watching it a lot lately.
To me, this is a yellow light.
At most, I usually watch it about once a week, but
recently there was a day I watched it five times.
It's strange, but as I keep watching,
I get incredibly motivated.
I think it's proof that I still have a long way to go.
I'm still not providing enough value, and
I still have a lot to learn both in business and as a person.
Thanks to the Dragon Quest theory of life, I decided to work harder, and
right now I'm at maximum motivation.
I'm going to start building the backend system now, so I'll leave it at that for today.
See you later.
I run an email newsletter.I'm giving away an e-book, so please check it out if you're interested.
It's free.
