What to suspect when you're not seeing results on note

◽️ Working hard but seeing no results

I say this not to brag, but as a fact.


I wasn't slacking off.


After putting my kids to bed,
I would be the only one in the living room with the lights on, working,
and then go to work the next morning feeling dazed.


Even on weekends, when my kids took a nap, I would juggle my main job and my side hustle.


I kept that up for months.


Even so, the numbers didn't budge.


The conclusion I reached at that time was this:


“I'm just not doing enough yet”


And so, I cut back on my time even more.


I was trying to explain the reason for my lack of success
entirely through the “amount of effort.”

◽️ Even increasing the volume,
nothing changed

There was no more time left to cut.


No more sleep, no more weekends, no more time with my family.


Since nothing changed even then,
I eventually started to doubt my own personality.


Maybe I'm not cut out for this.
Maybe I'm just someone who can't keep things up.


This part was the most painful.


But now, I understand.


What was lacking wasn't effort, but
the place where I was putting that effortwas wrong.


I had been working all along
without deciding on a goal or purpose.
For articles,


even though I hadn't decided who would read them,
I would just keep fixing the phrasing and titles
over and over again.
I was just running at full speed


without checking my direction.

◽️ The strange sense of relief when I realized it

I remember the day I realized this.


Rather than feeling incredibly frustrated,
I felt a strange sense of relief.


Those months weren't about effort,
they were just about distance traveled,I thought.


At the same time, I felt a little relieved.


Because I understood that it wasn't that I was no good.
And this was



the exact same mistake I made when I failed at a side hustle and lost 3 million yen.
I had always been



someone who didn't look at the map before running

◽️ The harder you work, the more you fall into this trap

People who aren't moving at all
don't make the mistake of putting effort in the wrong place.


The only ones who make that mistake are those who can move.


People who are serious, responsible,
and blame themselves when things don't go well.


So, if you're struggling right now,
that is not proof that you aren't working hard,
but rather proof that you are.


What you should cut is not your time.


Before increasing what you do,
before increasing the volume,
check your direction just once


With just this,
the same effort will start to yield results.
