[Live Report 2022] Sho-ta with Tenpack riverside rock'n roll band
12/11 (Sun) Shibuya PLEASURE PLEASURE
“Celebrate! A weekend show! Tonight is all for Tenpack.”
The concert, the first in a year and four months, kicked off with the “Anyway ROCK” song, na-na-na-na-na-na.
There was no Tenpack day last year,
and it was Sho-ta's birthday!
Plus, it was Tenpack's first-ever weekend show!!
There was no way it wouldn't be exciting.
From the very first song, both the stage and the audience were at full throttle.
Ishikawa-san, who was a devil the day before, said in his own words that
“you never know what's going to come out,” and during “Caffeine Junkie,” which he introduced, he played some really cool bass.
“Chasing Dreams” was also great.
Sho-ta's singing voice also makes you feel gentle and warm.
When Yoshio-san switched to his double-neck guitar for “One world,”
I was shouting “Higher!!” in my heart.
And I was also able to hear “On a White Snowy Night,” which I had hoped to hear since it's winter, for the first time in a while.
This song is also really cool.
Hasegawa-san's high-tone chorus was wonderful.
The crowd went wild for Tenpack staples like “Loved by Rock'n roll,” “Drive drive me Crazy,” and “ROCK YOU,” and also for “Ultra Super Lady,” which Sho-ta sang, dedicating it to all the girls,
Wait? There were no ballads.
It was two hours that flew by, truly fun and filled only with upbeat songs from start to finish.
When Dobashi-san started the intro for the final song, “I Love you love you,” which was different from usual (this intro was also wonderful), I was so surprised that I thought, “It sounds like ‘I Love you love you,’ but is it already over? Huh?”
And the encore was “Don't look back.”
The only ballad this time.
It's a great song as always. It really touches the heart.
There was also a rare moment where a birthday cake appeared in the first half.
This part was also very Tenpack-like.
It was a Tenpack concert filled with smiles and happiness, not just in the audience but on stage as well.
It was truly, absolutely, so much fun.
I say it every time, but Tenpack is the best.
The next one is May 12th.
There might be a tour, or maybe not.
Is it the first time the schedule has been released this early?
Just thinking that there is another concert coming up gives me the strength to keep going, and I will look forward to May.
Finally, happy birthday, Sho-ta!
