[Live Report 2023] Sho-ta with Tenpack riverside rock'n roll band
5/12 Tokyo SHIBUYA PLEASURE PLEASURE
10th LIVE TOUR 2023
This was the first live concert in three years where cheering was allowed.
The first song was "Got your back".
At first, I wondered if I could even make a sound since it had been so long, but once the music started, it didn't matter.
I think it was back at Quattro in 2020,
I didn't know if I was allowed to clap, how much I could get into it, or if I could stand up, so I watched the show while holding back the urge to shout.
I remember how happy it made me, almost to the point of tears, that they performed for us under those circumstances.
And before I knew it, I had learned to enjoy the shows even without being able to cheer.
But, oh, it really is fun to be able to cheer and sing along!
It's so fun to be able to shout "Sho-ta!!"
With the second song, "ignition," I was already going full throttle.
And then, the song they always play, "Tonikaku ROCK".
The album containing this song was released after the pandemic began.
Thinking, "Finally, I can say 'na-na-na',"
I raised my fist and shouted "Tonikaku ROCK!" with all my might.
Tenpack is the best.
One high-energy song after another followed, as if they were telling everyone to sing and shout.
Both the stage and the audience were in a state of constant, peak excitement.
It was so much fun.
Everyone together, "Higher".
I can hear everyone's voices.
Sho-ta said happily, "This is what it was like, wasn't it?"
Yes, this is what a live concert is supposed to be like.
The second half raced along with "Viva la Musica," "Drive drive me crazy,"
and "Kanpeki na Paradigm."
A silly rock'n roll band (as named by Sho-ta) that is always smiling.
Today's show had plenty of MC segments, and it was overflowing with joy.
Though Tenpack always seems to be having fun.
And the finale was, of course,
"I love you love you."
I love this song, which is so full of happiness.
The encore was the mellow "Trust me."
That was a bit unexpected and surprising.
And then "Ultra Super Lady."
For the second encore, they played "ONE STEP," even though it's not a Tenpack original.
Sho-ta sang with all his heart.
Tenpack played with all their heart.
It was the best "ONE STEP."
For me, this was the first live concert since cheering was allowed again.
The joy of being able to cheer after so long, and how fun it was.
I don't think I'll ever forget this moving experience.
Thank you for a concert that was cool and fun in every way!
I'll say it one more time.
Tenpack is the best!
Next up is our Sho-ta's birthday, 12/11.
I'm looking forward to it!
