No. 1250 | Delays in starting cause processes to fall behind

This blog shares insights gained from daily work for business professionals.

■
One of the mottos I have set as a theme for my own actions in my daily work is "Immediate decision, immediate resolution, immediate execution."
However, when I looked back at how I have been handling my work recently, I realized that there are situations where this principle has not been thoroughly implemented.
■
There were parts where I was working a bit too leisurely, but I have renewed my awareness of the sense of speed in "immediate decision, immediate resolution, immediate execution," and have been utilizing generative AI more than ever recently.
■
The biggest factor hindering the speed of work is the noise of "this is a hassle" that arises in the mind when facing a task.
When this noise occurs, thinking temporarily stops, and the time until actual work begins is prolonged.
■
As a result, I end up not touching it until the very last minute, but during that time, I am worried about the fact that it is not progressing, and this continues to emit a foul odor.
■
In other words, there is a structure where this "delay in starting" at the initial stage causes all subsequent processes to fall behind.
■
You can forcibly lower the mental hurdle of "getting it into shape for now," which requires the most energy in business, by having AI provide a primary draft.
This speed of starting is truly significant.
It also makes things much easier mentally.
■
As a result, the bottleneck where tasks stagnate on my end has been resolved, and "immediate decision, immediate resolution, immediate execution" has become much easier to carry out.
■
I myself will continue to pursue a way of working that improves productivity, and for a while, I would like to push forward with my work using this "immediate decision, immediate resolution, immediate execution" as my theme.
Thank you for reading until the end.
I will go with "immediate decision, immediate resolution, immediate execution, immediate response" today as well!
If you like it, I would be happy if you could follow me on note!
● Today's Summary
1. The biggest factor that slows down work is the emotional noise of "it's a hassle" that arises before starting.
2. Utilizing generative AI to lower the hurdle of creating something from zero is a logical means to prevent delays in starting.
