TALES now has an import & export feature!

You can now move your existing work to TALES or save your TALES-posted work as a backup. Please continue to enjoy writing on TALES with peace of mind.

Import your work as a Zip file

Simply upload a Zip file directly to TALES. You can easily move your existing work to TALES. The maximum supported file size is 20MB. Whether you want to import past works to reach more readers or participate in ongoing contests, this feature supports your writing journey.

[Import Steps]
1. Go to the Create New page (press [Write] -> [+Create New] on the top right of the home screen and enter the required information on the displayed screen) or go to the Edit Work Info page of an existing work.

2. On the Edit Work Info page, press the [...] button and select “Import” from the menu.

3. Upload the Zip file saved on your PC or other device.

4. The imported chapters and episodes will be added to the table of contents in draft status.

Export multiple chapters and episodes at once to back up your work

With the export feature, you can download the data (chapters and episodes) of one work you have posted to TALES as a single Zip file. This allows you to keep your precious work safely stored at hand at all times.

The information included in the file is as follows:
