Life goes better when you express your emotions.
Hello everyone.
I'm TAKUYA.
Today, I'm going to talk about the theme: "Life goes better when you express your emotions".
Are youconsciously expressing your emotions in your daily life?
What happens when you suppress your emotions too much?
I think many people have been taught since they were small that
"you shouldn't show your emotions".
"Be patient" and "Endure it" are indeed necessary lessons for living in society.
However, if you get into the habit of suppressing them excessively,
it becomes second nature to bottle up your feelings, and you become unable to express your true self.
As a result, you may find that you
cannot show your authentic self to anyone, leading to awkward relationships or feelings of loneliness.
My own experience
For example, let's talk about me.
There was a time when I hid my true feelings at work and in my private life, putting on a
"public face".
A colleague even told me,"You're like a machine."While everyone around me was chatting naturally and having fun, I was the only one acting distant.
People thought, "I don't know what he's thinking," my relationships didn't go well, and my good qualities weren't conveyed at all.
As a result, people around me drifted away, and no one new approached me.
The importance of expressing your true self
Recently, I decided to try and remove my shackles.
If I don't like something, I say "I don't like this," and if I'm happy, I show it honestly.
When I did that, people found it easier to talk to me, and more people started to think, "Oh, this is the kind of person he is."
Being natural and expressing your emotions is the key to attracting people.
Of course, expressing emotions doesn't mean yelling or throwing a tantrum.
It means expressing joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure naturally and with moderation.
This is what's important.
The benefits of expressing your emotions
When you express your emotions, your feelings are conveyed to those around you.
This is the first step to making relationships smoother.
It's the same in romantic relationships, isn't it?
If you don't express your feelings,
the other person will worry, "What is this person thinking?"
It's the same with friendships.
Even if the other person thinks, "Maybe we get along," if you act distant, they won't be able to get close to you.
Expressing your emotions creates trust and empathy.
As a result, your life becomes much richer.
Protecting yourself by expressing your emotions
Another benefit is that you become someone who "cannot be taken advantage of."
For example, when someone treats you rudely,
normally you would protest or show your displeasure, right?
But if you don't do that and just endure it,
"This person is okay with anything"is what they might think.
That's why,to protect yourself, it's important to show it through your attitude and express it in words.
Summary and what's next
Expressing your emotions might not be easy.
But just by being conscious of it little by little, your relationships with others will change, and positive changes will come to your life.
Instead of suppressing your emotions, by expressing yourself naturally, your true charm will begin to shine.
