[Mountain] First Hike of 2025! Carp Streamers Dancing at Mt. Jinba/Wada: Kobotoke - Mt. Kagenobu - Mt. Jinba - Wada (May 4, 2025)
This is takewoody.
On Sunday, May 4th, I went for my first hike of the year, walking through Mt. Kagenobu and Mt. Jinba.
I am delivering this report along with photos and videos.
This is my first hike in seven months, since Mt. Hiwada last October.
The cold weather continued this year, so my first hike got off to a late start.

◆ Summary (Impressions)
For my first hike of 2025, I walked from Kobotoke to Mt. Kagenobu, Mt. Jinba, and finally to the Wada bus stop.
It had been seven months since my last hike in November of last year, so my body felt a bit out of shape,
making this a good, light training session.
Since it was Golden Week and the weather was nice, the trails and summits were packed with people and extremely crowded.
I hike Mt. Jinba every year, but it changes significantly depending on the season.
I came here exactly two years ago in May and saw the carp streamers.
I was looking forward to the carp streamers on Mt. Jinba at this time of year,
but there were fewer of them than when I saw them two years ago.
However, the number of carp streamers in front of the Wada bus stop was incredible and wonderful.
I would like to continue hiking little by little in preparation for the summer mountain season.
Below is the hiking itinerary in video format; I would appreciate it if you could take a look.

which I climbed in October 2014.
